Okay, okay, okay… we have to end this account with a grave post - it’s only right.

We were saving these for closer to Halloween, but better to share now rather than never! And let’s be real, the Halloween season started August 1st in this household.

So without further adieu - our swan song, our last creature compilation: ᕼᗩᒪᒪOᗯEEᑎ 🎃 👻

Location: Angels Rest at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT

Alright, enjoy trick or treating. That’s a wrap 🖤

Two truths that we hold near and dear to our hearts:

🎃 Halloween is the absolute best.

🪦 Cemeteries are where dead animals belong - not in human bellies.

We decided to combine both of those sentiments into a few new Redbubble merch designs (the Redbubble store we have had for years of course - this isn’t new 🙄.) Link in bio if you like spooky things and also don’t see the difference in the value of the lives of dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, and cows.

Comments disabled because lizard brains are trying to perpetuate misconceptions about plant-based diets and that’s the absolute last thing we want to provide a platform for.

🐶 Patrice (unknown-2024)

Location: Personal memorial in Santa Ana, CA

Patrice’s parent Patrick wrote, “Patrice showed up on our doorstep early one morning out of nowhere back in 2018. He was sick, matted, blind, and had a broken leg. My mom had seen him running down a busy street a day earlier, she had come home and told me about it, but by that time he had disappeared into the neighborhood. By some miracle, the very next day, he showed up at our home miles away and we took him in. He spent a year at a local rescue that nursed him back to health (I was in the military at the time, and couldn’t take care of him full time) After a year, I adopted him and he found his forever home with us and his cat brothers/sisters. Despite his already advanced age, and heart issues he battled with in his last 3 years, me and Patrice had a lot of adventures, a lot of cuddle time, a lot of midnight walks. He was my best buddy. He was my son. He truly taught me how to be a daddy, with him being special needs, needing daily meds, special food, and wearing a diaper. I believe the lessons he taught me will carry on into fatherhood in the future. He passed away in 2024 unexpectedly, at an unknown but advanced age. He wasn’t a normal dog, and admittedly gave me quite the headache sometimes…but I loved him more than anything in the world. I miss him every day, and plan to do many good things in his honor. Goodbye my beautiful boy, my best friend, my son. I hope to see you again someday. Love, daddy”
