When Ava graduated high school a year early, I remember writing a post and telling everyone to keep an eye out for her name on the big screen. We’ve always known she was destined for big, beautiful things… she has poured her heart into singing, dancing, painting, and creating for as long as I can remember. But seeing those prayers and dreams actually come to fruition in real time is a feeling I can barely put into words. It’s thrilling, a little overwhelming, and deeply humbling all at once.

We are so proud to share that Ava has been offered and accepted a Production Assistant position for an upcoming feature film! To say she is learning from some of the absolute best in the industry is a major understatement.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that most film school graduates spend years dreaming of, made possible through incredible networking, mutual connections, and a whole lot of hard work behind the scenes. We are so grateful to the University of Mississippi, The BFA Film Program, The Ole Miss Women’s Glee Choir, and her sorority, AXO, for being so supportive and allowing her to transition to online classes for the semester so she can step right into this role before returning to campus in January.

Ava, watching the woman you are becoming… your resilience, your strength, and your sheer determination is the greatest joy of our lives. As scary as it feels to watch you step out into such a huge world, our hearts find peace in His promises and His direction for your future.

We are just so incredibly proud of you! We love you so much, Ava! by @creavativity_
