I maintained and juggled a job making 50k-60k/a year then made the choice to leave my well paid job because it became too much when I saw a bigger and better life for me. Of course I took a pay cut for my freedom and peace of mind. So I went to school and hustled (I sold sun glasses, hair, ventured in many others things and focused on being an entrepreneur while I complete school (IYKYK 😂). I am the owner Credit for Success, LLC which is an consulting company offering many services to the community for individuals and businesses. I have donated my time to go speak to groups and individuals in different environments about mental health and the importance of financial literacy. I would like to let someone out there know to never give up. You can do it all. Create the life you dream of and always believe in YOU. You can do it! My dreams are even BIGGER than I could ever imagine.

Thank you to my support system y’all know exactly who y’all are I cried many days but I kept going! 🙏🏾💪🏾

P.S. my song that fits this whole post is The Carters- Boss (that’s the vibe)

Long post alert ‼️

When I was 21 or 22, I let my environment get the best of me and I was a felon before the age of 22 luckily God saw that I needed another chance and that’s what he gave me. I did a whole 360. In life, we have choices and I chose to create a better life for myself which took lots of sacrificing, dedication, and studying. My daughter was born in 2015 and I like to say she saved my life. I birthed her but it also felt like I was reborn a new person. I knew that I had to get myself together to be a better person and mother. I didn’t know that I would dedicate my next 5 years to school. I took care of my child, worked various jobs and excelled at my schooling. I take pride in being a mother and setting an example for my child. I may have felt down many times but I never quit. And that’s the thing about life, many obstacles may be sent your way to test you, many situations may make you uncomfortable but it’s all a test! Never let your past define you. I’ve been tested so many times but nothing but God brung me through it. It has truly been a blessing to go to school at U of M Dearborn/ Ann Arbor and study health and human services with a concentration in social work. I am a honor student and on the Deans List permanently for my academic achievement.
