Song Swap/Open Mic TOMORROW, Tues. Nov. 3 @ 6-8 PM Hosted by Mo Bentz Bring a song, bring a friend, or just bring your ears, CMAC’s Monthly Song Swap series! Think open mic meets front porch jam session: we’ll keep it casual, passing the spotlight around one tune at a time. Share an original, cover a classic, join in if you know the chords, or just soak it all in. Whether you’re a seasoned songwriter, a casual strummer, a spoken-wordsmith, or someone who just loves live music, there’s a seat in the circle for you. CMAC will have a few mics, a piano/keyboard, and a variety of stringed instruments on hand for those who want to gently plug in or join the fun spontaneously. The atmosphere is relaxed, collaborative, and rooted in acoustic-style sharing. All styles and experience levels welcome. Free and open to the public, donations are always appreciated. by @creedemac

Today! High Noon CMAC’s Meg Marino Mayes is back home & in the studio this week (and into the winter), bringing her signature wholistic approach to singing & genre-gliding. We’ll start each session with gentle group warm-ups and communal singing, followed by opportunities for individual coaching or phrase work, depending on what folks are feeling that day. It’s collaborative, casual, and centered around joy and vocal discovery. No need to read music, just bring your voice and a willingness to explore. But if you have sheet music for a piece you’d like to work on, feel free to bring it along! Become a weekly regular or drop in here and there as the spirit moves you. Free to attend, donations are always appreciated. by @creedemac

From the bottom of Meg and Mike’s hearts: THANK YOU. To everyone who joined us for this incredibly special event at the hotel, your emotional and financial support means more than words can express. A special thank you to: ✨ Shelly Dee & John Arp for being such incredible hosts ✨ Courtney, Mo, & Kerri for jumping into the music with such love and support, and to the board members & CMAC community who were there in spirit ✨ Judith, our phenomenal pianist, for bringing the music to life ✨ Tom Hetzel for helping capture these moments They say laughter through tears is the best medicine, and this night was proof. Mike even sang like the dang songbird that he is on a couple of songs! We will be sharing many of the songs from this wonderful concert in their entirety over the coming weeks, so keep an eye on this space…and get the Kleenex ready! We hope they bring you all the fuzzies during today’s snowy Creede weather and the cold days to come. ❄️🏔️ How to Support Mike & Meg: If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, every bit of support helps: 👉 GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/standing-with-michael-mayes 👉 Local Bank: An account is also set up directly in Meg’s name at Del Norte Bank Thank you all for the love and community! by @creedemac

Don’t miss Free Friday Voice Class 12-1pm with Meg at CMAC HQ! 112 North Main Street • Creede CO 🎶 by @creedemac
Putting her genre-chameleon skills to the test, Meg is bringing a little something for everyone: from classical, opera, and musical theatre to the American songbook, country and western favorites, and sacred songs. She’ll be joined by special guests pianist Judith Bible (traveling in from Montrose) and guitarist Courtney La Zier, plus surprise appearances. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Details: Generously hosted by the Dee Family & John Arp, complete with a spread of tasty snacks. Support & Donations: While the concert is free, any donations will go directly into a fund supporting our board president, Mike Mayes. As many of you know, Mike suffered severe injuries onstage in Germany on May 13, leaving him unable to work for the foreseeable future. Proceeds will help offset ongoing medical care and legal expenses. @thecreedehotelandrestaurant @meg.marino.music by @creedemac
