***ALSO!*** - @team_tennessee_kb_juggling is back in action at The Parthenon this Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm! If you’re in or near, Music City, please come join us! We have great coaches ready to teach you our sport! 😁💪 by @creidfitness

Well that’s a wrap, folks. The Kettlebell Juggling World Games in San Diego didn’t go as I would have liked, but so it goes sometimes. Life in sport has a way of testing you to see how bad you want it. I bombed my Pro Classic program on day 1 and had to bow out on day 2 due to a massive migraine the night before that rocked me.

That being said, there were some incredible performances from all of the competitors this time around and I still ended up taking home a gold medal for the sprint event, which I am truly grateful for.

Big shout out to @team_tennessee_kb_juggling for their hard work and for taking home the most 1st place🥇 medals of any squad! Just incredible. @jaredmichaelthomas @hiking_trails_and_kettlebells @jennwiththebells @savfit__ you guys are rock stars for showing up, doing the work, and showing incredible resilience and grit. Let’s keep going.

And thanks to @ninachristinelee and @justinjugglingkettlebell for all of their hard work putting this show together. #aakjuggling #weckmethod #kettlebelljuggling #wodndone by @creidfitness

For some its football season, but for those in the know- it’s time for the best, little known sporting event of the year…

The 2026 Kettlebell Juggling World Games!!!

@team_tennessee_kb_juggling will have its biggest representation yet, with 5 competitors headed to @weckmethod in San Diego to compete for the title of the best in the World!

With just a few weeks left, our practice turns up a notch, dialing in our programs, preparing mentally for what can be an intense moment when the athlete hits the platform to share with the world what they’ve been working on for months

With both veterans and beginners, I couldn’t be more proud of the effort and dedication that these 5 athletes have shown over the summer and now it all comes together for the big moment

Everyone is hitting their stride and Team Tennessee will be ready to go

Sept. 26th & 27th: Are you ready? 💪🔥

*ALSO* Big shoutout to @provitanashville for giving our team a place to practice in this important time. Grateful to have a space where our sport is appreciated 🙏🏻 by @creidfitness

Pressing the “Beast” 48kg for a double on July 30, 2026.

I have acquired a bad habit of not celebrating my successes—often downplaying it or trying to be humble as if it is some kind of virtue. But looking back at it, I’m so damn proud of this feat and of all of my training this past year. Most people couldn’t press this thing once, let alone twice. I’m so grateful that I get to do this stuff and, to be honest, someday I won’t be able to.

As Psychologist Steven C. Hayes once said, “Pursue it passionately, but hold it lightly”

Some have asked me if this is “healthy” ? and my answer is that training for sport and feats of strength like this is an expression of the health I have cultivated for myself and have been fortunate and privileged enough to have been gifted on this earth. And in times when I think I’m too old or too tired, I remember that training is an opportunity, a privilege and a gift and I hope I can inspire at least one person to keep going, however big or small.

Keep going—it’s worth it. by @creidfitness

“Stability (when one is protected) increases the feeling of safety. Instability means risk but easy mobility. Both are biologically important. Becoming addicted to one of them makes one unsafe for lack of choice.”

Sunday Funday with Team Tennessee! 😄

Our fearless leader @jaredmichaelthomas was out of town but the crew still got together for another fun practice under the summer sun.☀️It was a hot one but we didn’t let that hold us back from world games prep and of course some top notch shenanigans.

We put together a quick flow celebrating a new unlocked movement by @jennwiththebells 🔥 She has been out here putting in the work and leveling up on the daily! 👏👏👏

I am so proud of this crew for all their hard work and just honored I get to hang out with the coolest people once a week. 🥹 Y’all are the best!

Let’s go Team Tennessee! 😎 by @creidfitness

The OGs of Team Tennessee put together a fun lil freestyle flow this past weekend, but of course it wasn’t completed without proper shenanigans!

This post in all its goofiness and glory is dedicated to the White Limozeen, Country Queen herself: Dolly Parton 🙌🏻🙏🏻
May she rest in peace 🥲🤍

Kettlebell Juggling World games is on deck! Sept. 26th & 27th @weckmethod! Y’all come stop by and see what all the commotion is about 🤠 by @creidfitness

“Look into your own experience. Myths and stories are intriguing, and it is certainly entertaining to imagine being powerful. If, however, you want to BECOME powerful, then you need to begin by discovering what is true, what you can actually experience for yourself. Like it or not, that is what you have to work with. In time, you will find that the truth of the matter is far more fascinating than the tall tales that claim to point the way.”

For all of my Kettlebell Jugglers:

When we learn new skills, we go through a “freezing” phase where we tend to lock up our joints in an attempt to control and manage the “degrees of freedom” or variables that need to be managed. This is a normal part of the learning process. As practice continues through many repetitions, we seek to “thaw” or release this freeze response and allow the whole body to participate in flipping the bell. Finally, when our system has thawed, we can now truly exploit and manipulate the bell in a dance—a flow—with a feeling of relaxed effort and ease.

One of my limiters in the sport of Kettlebell Juggling so far is my hands and fingers. Even when the rest of my body is ready to go my hands are fed up. In addition, I’ve had some unusual strains from catching bells in the air at weird angles. So I’ve made some adjustments to my gym work to really strengthen the hand/grip and fingers. I love these KAZ handles from @primefitnessusa that taper to about a 2.5” diameter, which makes deadlifting extra spicy. Here’s me taking a ride with 405 pounds for a triple—really have to focus on squeezing the weight off the floor. Don’t sleep on fat grip training, it’s a good tool in the tool box. #kettlebelljuggling #99problemsbutgripaintone by @creidfitness

Something I’ve been playing around with in my brain cave lately is observing different somatotypes (body shapes) in the sport of Kettlebell Juggling and how anatomical diversity might influence technique. In this case, I’m looking at three top athletes in the sport from left to right: @justinjugglingkettlebell @jaredmichaelthomas and @sean.pearse

Admittedly, I am sophomoric in my understanding of helical angles but my observations are that our shape influences the athletes, to some degree, to execute the throws in a way that suits their anatomy. Wider bodies and longer wingspans may allow for a wider arc in throws like the lateral mills seen in the picture above, whereas narrower bodies might adopt a narrower arc. Are there advantages or disadvantages to each type? What somatotypes might be predisposed to learning certain skills better than others?

Also, come to the world games in San Diego at the end of September, it’s going to be fun 🤩 #aakjuggling #kettlebelljuggling by @creidfitness

I like to think of Kettlebell Juggling like “Iron Tai Chi”—insofar as I’m trying to make the movement as fluid and effortless as possible. My nervous system likes to use force, which gets me into a lot of trouble. When I competed in judo as a kid my sensei gave me the title of “best muscle technique” because I didn’t appreciate the value of technique until I had my ass handed to me by those more skilled.

It was rumored that legendary Olympic lifter Vasily Alexeyev used to lift weights in waste deep water to slow the movement down. He would also visualize being on the platform in an inch deep of water and, while executing the lifts, he would imagine never making a splash.

I know when it feels effortless, when I’m grounded in my feet and I can hear my breath syncing with the movements that I have arrived. But it has to be ugly first in order to learn.

This combo isn’t pretty yet but the joy is in the journey. Joy can be an act of resistance, but too much resistance can also be the thief of joy. #aakjuggljng #kettlebelljuggling by @creidfitness
