🎣🔥 THE FISH OF MY LIFE — BLUE MARLIN 🔥🎣

Some fishing moments stay with you forever. This one will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Tenerife. Atlantic Ocean. And finally… the fish I had always dreamed about.

🔵 BLUE MARLIN.

What followed was over ONE HOUR of absolute battle.

This fish tested everyone. Two other anglers had their turn in the fighting chair and gave absolutely everything until they were exhausted… and then it was my turn.

Pure adrenaline. Pain. Power. Runs that seemed endless. At some point you stop thinking about anything else — you just want to see that fish alongside the boat.

And eventually… we did. ❤️

Massive respect to Jack from Crested Wave, who skippered the boat brilliantly throughout the whole battle, keeping us in the fight and giving us the best possible chance.

And a HUGE thank you to Dario, who was right there helping me during the drill when things got seriously tough. 💪🎣

This was never just one man's catch. It was a proper TEAM effort from everyone on that boat.

After more than an hour, people were exhausted, bodies were hurting… but nobody wanted to give up.

And neither did that marlin.

Then I finally saw it alongside the boat.

That moment… Absolutely UNREAL. 🔥🔵

I've spent years fishing, travelled thousands of miles and caught some incredible fish.

But this?

This is different.

This is the one.

🎣 FISH OF MY LIFE.
🔵 BLUE MARLIN.
🔥 ALL OR NOTHING.

Tenerife 2026 — one hour of madness and a memory for a lifetime.

7/12 blue marlin plus raised some more and seen countless feeding the first day !
1/2 115kg big eye tuna just to top it off..

We headed to Gran Canaria for the @openpescagrancanaria and train some days before the comp and we had some good success going the first day
2/5 on BM plus a big eye
Second day 3/3 raised another
2/2 raised another
Concentrating on switch and bait and that was the plan for the competition.. but like many times in this game everything can change from one day to another !
Our good luck run out and didn’t last for the days that matter and we only was able to raised one on the first day on the left long teaser that never came back after the first hit ..
But that’s what keeps bringing us to it .. the uncertainty the chance that maybe today that giant comes in to your spread and gives you the chance of a life time ..
It will be when you least expect it that’s why we are always ready for it !
Next year we will be back more eager that ever !

For now it’s back to Tenerife waiting for the chumming season that’s not far away and in the mean time will still be trying for that giant blue that come by our waters in September 🤞🏻

And has it always goes on our way back to Tenerife the day after the comp with only two Tuna lures we hook and released a 400lb blue marlin in the middle of the channel with just me and Dario on board 😅 you can’t make this s**t up ! 150lb blue marlin vs Special one 300s!

On this morning trip we had plenty of skipjacks and then this nice surprise blue marlin that hit the lure has we where fighting some skipjacks!
Plus we marked and saw some yellow fin tuna ..

Back out in the afternoon and we got in to the skipjacks again plus we raised some yellow fin but couldn’t get them to take the bait .. eating everything that we throw at them except anything that had a hook in it ! That’s just yellow fin for you

We went 1/1 and raised another that never wanted the switch
On the last day when we decided to have fun with the skipjacks and yellow fin that’s when the long center went off!

Yo just never know in this game !
