Part 1 of changing the pickleball coaching space with Crestline!

Recently we rolled out a “coach finder” tool on Crestline! The tech is quite simple:

You select your language, current skill level and areas you want to improve in your game. We then scrape our coach database and present the best options for you!

No more hoping your coach is a good fit or finding out their best strengths aren’t what you want to improve on!

Crestline allows users to work with real coaches in an effective, efficient and cost friendly way.

Most people have the wrong idea about the slice. They try and cut it too much with their wrist, but your wrist doesn’t create the backspin it’s the high to low motion.

Keep your dominant shoulder down, attack the ball with your body and minimize your wrist movement.

What are you picking pickleball players? 🤔 by @crestline.app

If I only had 90 minutes to drill, this is how I’d spend it 👇

I want my practice to have a purpose—not just hit a bunch of balls and call it a drill session.

20 min — Dinking
• Straight ahead (both sides)
• Cross-court forehand
• Cross-court backhand

20 min — Midcourt resets
• Right + straight
• Right + cross-court
• Left + straight
• Left + cross-court

20 min — Third-shot drops
• Right + straight
• Right + cross-court
• Left + straight
• Left + cross-court

30 min — My version of 7/11

One player starts at the net and one starts back. Only the player starting from the back can score.

If the player at the net wins the point, they move back and now have to transition. If the player starting back wins, they rotate and get a look from the next position.

First to 11.

I love finishing with this because now you’re taking the dinks, resets, and drops you just drilled and actually having to use them in a live point.

If you have a drilling partner and only have 90 minutes, save this and follow the whole session.

📤 Send this to your drilling partner and make them do it with you.

🎯 Pro tip: Don’t just drill the shot—drill the situation. The goal is to make your technique hold up when the point gets messy.
