Dump 2025 : Life Update

To say this has been a wild year would be an understatement. After the LA fires @stephg.story , Lorenzo and I relocated back east where I landed a union job at @prg.north.america building sets and art for the best shows Broadway has to offer.

I drove across America alone and didn’t take a single picture. Crossed hot deserts, icy mountains, endless rolling hills and flatlands and almost died in Iowa to get back to my boy. All those sights are just for me.

I’m blessed to have met and worked with so many amazing people in LA and miss them all very much.
Maybe one day we will return. Until then it’s a New York State of mind.

We are safe and sound.

Been a stressful 48 hours. Winds blew off my roof shingles and blew open my door at 2:30 in the morning. Transformer exploded behind my building and we lost power. None of that compares to what others went through and lost so much.

Why is the rum always gone...

Once again working with my mentor, the great @justin_rasch_official !

This is one of my recent animated exercises. Here we explore the physics of a simple cup grab. Since I used a fabricated 1/6 scale @medicom_toy Jack Sparrow I had to make it a little goofy. You see the progress of blocking out the shot with stills, then rehearsal on 2's ( each frame is doubled ) to the Hero on 24 frames per second.

To the best Mama 🐻 in town @stephg.story . She is my greatest and best friend. A creative powerhouse and an excellent parent. Everyday she makes me laugh and fall a bit more in love. Enzo and I are lucky boys!
