As I reflect on all of the amazing performance opportunities I had this past year, there is one moment onstage that I simply will never forget. This quiet moment at the end of Static: A New Musical where I stepped out of the world of the play and delivered this final address directly to the audience. There was something so palpable, raw, and beautiful about this speech, wrapping up this tender piece illustrating a father and his son seeking desperately to come to understand one another. As an actor, this is where I thrive. Where I can fully transcend. Just me and the words on the page. I am so blessed to share stories for a living, and I hope you guys enjoy sharing that moment with me here.
