Celebrating excellence, creativity, and advocacy 🌸🏆

Yesterday, we had the honor of awarding a certificate to the winner of our Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Competition. Her voice, passion, and commitment to breaking the stigma around menstruation truly inspired us all. 💕🩸

This competition was more than just a contest — it was a platform to educate, empower, and encourage young people to speak openly about menstrual health and hygiene.

Congratulations once again to our amazing winner @n.a.s.e.r.i.a.n_ , and thank you to everyone who participated and supported this initiative. Together, we continue to create awareness and empower girls in our communities ✨

WEEK 3 | YOUNG SRHR INNOVATORS COHORT 2026

Young people deserve the knowledge, support, and safe spaces they need to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.

As we continue the Young SRHR Innovators Cohort 2026, Week 3 takes us into two critical issues affecting young people and communities:

🔹 Teenage Pregnancy
🔹 Sexual Violence

This session will create space to explore the realities behind these issues, their contributing factors, impact on young people, prevention approaches, and the role young people can play in creating safer and healthier communities. 🗣️🌍

We believe that meaningful change begins with knowledge, open conversations, youth leadership, and action.

💡 Learn. Question. Reflect. Lead. Act.

The journey continues as young innovators across Africa come together to learn, share experiences, and turn SRHR challenges into meaningful solutions.

LEARN → LEAD → INNOVATE → ACT → IMPACT 🚀💜

Teenage pregnancy can have significant effects on a young person’s health, education, well-being, and future opportunities. Addressing it requires accurate information, supportive environments, access to youth-friendly services, and meaningful conversations with young people.

Today, we are highlighting one of our Young SRHR Innovators Cohort 2026
members, who is using their voice to raise awareness about teenage pregnancy and encourage greater understanding of the challenges young people face. 🗣️✨

Creating change starts with listening to young people, sharing accurate information, and working together to build communities where every young person can make informed decisions about their health and future.

💜 Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s turn awareness into action.

🚨💜 BREAK THE SILENCE. SPEAK UP AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE.

Gender-based violence is not a private matter—it is an issue that affects safety, dignity, health, and human rights.

One of our Young SRHR Innovators Cohort 2026 members is using their voice to raise awareness about gender-based violence (GBV)and the importance of prevention, education, support, and speaking out against harmful behaviors and norms. 🌍🗣️

Creating safer communities requires all of us to challenge violence, promote respect, support survivors, and ensure that young people have the knowledge and confidence to advocate for change.

💜 Every voice matters. Every person deserves safety, dignity, and respect.

LEARN → LEAD → INNOVATE → ACT → IMPACT 🚀🌍
