Felt obliged to post this delicious vegan 3 course Boxing Day meal that was served at @thestgeorgeanddragon. It’s not often I find decent vegan meals out in the country, hence the lack of posts.

The beetroot & pumpkin seed arancini was served with humous and pesto. A divine starter if I say so myself.

For main I had the festive candied seed roast which had some great flavours. I must say I was stuffed come the end of it. We finished off the with a 3 flavour sorbet, which was packed with fruity flavours.

To top it off I got to enjoy dinner with my beautiful grandparents. Boxing Day well spent.

Another year at Glasto means another year of trying the vegan delights that were on offer! If you were ever wondering about the vegan options, don’t you worry as there is WAY MORE than you can choose from in the 5 days spent there. I made a conscious effort to try more food stalls than I did last year, however I did have to go back to @wearehummusapiens as I was so impressed by their food! Can’t wait to have it again back in Bristol.

The vegan nachos were so tasty! Had the perfect amount of spice in the “beef” and plenty of guac 🫶🏽 The Korean Cauliflower Rice bowl was also a highlight! The cali was crunchy and flavourful.

Like last year, I had a burrito at least once a day, mainly for breakfast. Seems tradition now and the vegan burrito from @teatimecollective is so good when you’re hanging 💪🏼

Found myself at the coffee stall ordering iced oat lattes, which was so needed in the baking heat we were enduring. Ice creams were also vital.

Yet again, there were still some places I would have loved to try, but I guess I’ll have to be there next time 🥰🎪🎠

I’m pretty sure this was the first time I had a moussaka and much to my delight I really enjoyed it. It’s basically a lasagne, but the pasta is replaced with potato or aubergine. A very tasty vegan lunch or dinner and defo worth your time!

@alexandrabeale_ enjoyed her brownie and you best believe I tried it too 🫶🏽

Looking for a new roast spot? Check out The Farm in St Werburghs. I went for the vegan roast and I’ve gotta say it’s one of the best vegan roasts I’ve had in Bristol. There was plenty on the plate and it tasted great!

I’m not always too keen on a nut-roast, but this was good and not too filling.

Not a bad little pub. Why not even check out the animals in the farm next door whilst you’re there?

@pastan.uk, have you tried it? If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? This is vegan food done right! Every dish I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed and they’re all oozing with flavour 🤤 So much so, that I went there twice for over the course of my birthday weekend.

I remember visiting a couple years ago when they were just doing a pop-up in Bristol and I was so gutted when they left. I’m very happy they’ve made their way back to Bristol and staying!

Defo get down there and let me know what you eat! You can find them on Prince Street, just off Queen’s Square.

#AD Looking for a new pizza to devour this weekend? Why don’t you give @parsonsbakeryuk pizzas a try! They have a new store in Henleaze, serving 14” vegetarian and vegan options for £10 each and they don’t skimp on flavour!

I really enjoyed the Posh Vegan Margherita and the Goats Cheese & Red Onion pizzas. The crusts on both pizzas were banging! Perfect for dipping <3 Can’t forget to give a mention to the garlic sourdough slices either, they were delish!

Maison Umami Berlin - hands down my favourite restaurant that we visited in Berlin. The food was so tasty AND affordable!

We arrived with no booking around 7pm. As it was busy we were asked if we’d like to sit down at the small table section where we had to take our shoes off and sit on cushions. Very relaxed way to dine.

The staff were very polite and the atmosphere inside was lovely. Perfect spot to celebrate @maisiemais_ birthday. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Berlin :)

“The Best Burger in Berlin” Burgermeister - I can’t really argue with them there, it was the best veggie burger I’ve eaten in a while. I’d been recommended to come here by a couple friends and it was the perfect hangover food after heavy night in Wilde Renate.

You get plenty of fries, that I’d even consider sharing a portion if you don’t eat much. The veggie patty was made from soy and it was very similar to that of the McPlant. The burger was also served with cheese, pickle, mushrooms, lettuce and tomatoes. The sauces are all free, you just use the sauce pump and squirt to your hearts desire hehe 😜

My friends went the meaty route and their burgers looked and tasted great. If you’re in Berlin and looking for a great alternative to Maccies & BK, get yourself down to @burgermeisterberlin 🖤💚

Made some banging roast potatoes this evening with asparagus and a vegan creamy feta & oat milk dip. Very tasty and simple to make 💚

Ingredients:

Maris pipers
Asparagus
Spice mixes
Salt & pepper
Olive oil

Coat the potatoes in the oil, spices and salt/pep. Cook in oven for 45-50 mins. Halfway through give the potatoes and turn and add crumbled vegan feta.

Vegan dip:

Vegan feta
Oat cream
Lemon
Coriander to garnish

(Add to blender and blitz until smooth)

You’ve more than likely heard of the @thebristoliancafe by now and rightly so, their food is smashing! The aubergine fries and scrambled tofu always go down a treat 🤤 I’ve never been disappointed by their vegan breakfasts and everyone I’ve taken there have also enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Be sure to get there early, as it’s not uncommon to see queues lining up the street. Worth the wait though 🌱
