16 years of choosing each other. ❤️

We have walked through so many seasons together — some beautiful, some incredibly hard — and somehow, through all of it, God has continued to grow us, strengthen us, and bring us closer.

I love the life we’ve built, but I think what I love most is where we are right now. There is a peace, a friendship, and a love in this chapter of our marriage that feels so special to me.

@iamciqwitit808 , thank you for being my partner, my biggest supporter, and the man who continues to stand beside me through everything life brings.

I will always be the jelly to your peanut butter and thankful God gave me you.

This is us, 16 years later. ❤️ We’ve been through the highest highs, the lowest lows, and so much in between—and through it all, I’d still choose you every single time. I’d choose you over and over and over, in every lifetime. ❤️ There is no one else I’d rather do this life with, grow with, laugh with, and love with. The Faith we have doesn’t replace intentionality. It fuels it. @crios457 you are the woman I made a covenant with and is the one God intended to walk beside me for the rest of my life.

Five years without you, Fabio. 💔

I’ve been trying all day to figure out what I’m supposed to say, and maybe the truth is that I don’t have anything beautiful or profound today. This year, I haven’t just missed you. I’ve needed you

I’ve wished you were here through so many moments — helping me through Rhyder’s injury, watching Rhy grow into the beautiful young woman and cheerleader she’s becoming, seeing me serve in Poland, and watching Mom’s house slowly become a home again. Then navigating thru Fabio's new journey.

There have been so many times I’ve wished I could call you and simply ask, “Fabio, what do I do?”

I wish you were here to help guide me through decisions I never asked to make without you. To tell me when I’m doing too much, when I need to hold on tighter, when I need to let go, or just remind me that I’m doing the best I can. Loving the kids is easy. Knowing what you would want for them without being able to ask you is the hard part.

Five years later, I still have days when I can accept that you’re gone, and then there are weeks like this one when every part of me wants to scream and cry.

I am so lucky to have had you for 36 years but there should have been more time for more conversations. More laughs. More life.

Some days I don’t need grief to teach me anything. I just want my brother.

One more conversation. One more “I told you so.”

And more than anything, one more hug.

(Short Version since Insta doesn't like my love letter being long) 😂 Happy 39th Birthday to my husband, my best friend, and the man I still can’t believe chose me to do this life with. 🥹❤️

This past year alone has held so much, and through every season you have continued to show up—for me, for our kids, for our family, and for God.

I watched you serve in Mexico building a home for a family, and then join me in Poland, where we served, worshipped, and experienced God in such a powerful way. I’ve watched you love our kids so deeply, step up for Fabio, and continue growing into the man God is calling you to be.

Our life hasn’t always been easy, but I think that’s what makes me love our story even more. Through the hard days, the beautiful days, the unexpected moments, and everything in between, you have continued to stand beside me.

At 39, I hope you know how proud I am of the husband, father, protector, and man of God you are becoming.

I am so excited to see what God has in store for you next.

In May of this year, I had the opportunity to put my hands and feet to work for something bigger than myself.
I joined a group of like-minded men and traveled to Mexico to build a house for a family in need. No job titles, no distractions — just hard work, sweat, and service. We framed walls on a single concrete slab , and raised a home from the ground up.
It was humbling to use my own hands to give a family a safe place to call home, and powerful to do it shoulder-to-shoulder with other men who showed up to serve.

💙 One step at a time… 💙

Today was a day we’ll never forget.

After six weeks, Dr. Neilson officially cleared Rhyder to say goodbye to his brace and take his very first steps without it. He was nervous, but with so much encouragement from Dr. Neilson and the amazing team at Children’s Bone & Spine, he did it!

There were lots of tears, hugs, and one very excited little boy who proudly held up his brace for one last “Bye Bye Brace” picture.

Now we begin Phase 2—six weeks of physical therapy to rebuild his strength and confidence.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked in, and supported our family. Your love has carried us through some really hard days. And a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Neilson and the entire Children’s Bone & Spine team for taking such incredible care of our little warrior.

God is so good. One step at a time. 💙🙏

✊🏽 RHYDER'S STORY TIME 💙

Two months ago, Rhyder was injured during a flag football game. At first, we were told it was likely a pulled hamstring and to wait it out, but as the weeks went on, something just didn’t feel right.

He couldn’t fully straighten his leg, started walking on his toes, and continued to have pain. We trusted our instincts and sought a second opinion.

After X-rays, an MRI, and visits with specialists, we learned that Rhyder has a rare condition called a Discoid Meniscus, affecting only about 3-5% of children. His meniscus was nearly four times the normal size and had torn, requiring surgery.

Last week, he underwent a successful repair that required four sutures and an extra incision due to the complexity of his case.

The first few days were hard. There were tears, sleepless nights, pain, and lots of uncertainty. But this week we’ve celebrated some big wins:

The first full night’s sleep.
The first shower.
The first smile after a tough day.
The first time he got outside for fresh air.
The first time he confidently used his walker.
Most importantly, he’s still smiling.

Today he’s 50% weight-bearing, working hard in physical therapy, and reminding us every day how resilient kids can be.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: trust your instincts. You know your child best.

If something doesn’t feel right, keep asking questions. Keep advocating. Keep pushing for answers.

We’re sharing this story because awareness matters. If even one parent reads this and decides to seek a second opinion when something doesn’t feel right, then sharing our journey will have been worth it.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked in, and supported our family through this journey. We still have a road ahead of us, but our little warrior is making incredible progress. 💙

Yesterday was more than making shirts.
Yesterday was about honoring a beautiful life. ❤️

Our very own Jacob stood beside me helping press every shirt for his brother, Giovanny. Between tears, stories, and laughter, we reminisced about the kind of person Giovanny was — someone who brought joy, light, and love to the people around him.

Knowing his family will have a reminder of him is something we’ll never forget. Their emotions, gratitude, and love filled the room.

Thank you to the DeAlba family for allowing us to create something so meaningful in honor of Giovanny’s legacy. It was truly an honor to help celebrate his life and create something that will forever keep his memory close to our hearts.
