You Me At Six // Sinners Never Sleep

I drifted in and out of listening to this band but for me this album was them at their best. Solid bangers front to back and this 10th anniversary edition smashes it of the park with the extra acoustic and live tracks.

Getting to catch them on their final tour was pretty great, I’d only just rediscovered my love of live music and the show was quality, I just regret not going for the second date too, which now i absolutely would do!

Sinners Never Sleep is the third studio album from You Me At Six, released in 2011.

HOT MULLIGAN.

It’s no secret to anyone that this band is my absolute number one! I’ve spoken briefly in the past about how 2025 was such a big deal for me and a real new beginning at life, HM were something new and fresh that I connected to instantly in that time, and I’ve been hooked ever since. 100% no skip discography for me. I was lucky enough to meet most of them earlier in the year and they were the soundest guys, apologies for being awkward as fuck! Social skills pending.

Flying 4000 miles alone across the world to finally tick Warped Tour off my bucket list after 25 years was pretty crazy, but when the HM announced dropped I couldn’t have been happier! As usual they absolutely killed it and it was a pleasure to be surrounded by such a great bunch of strangers down the front screaming every word, the crowd was fucking wild. 10/10 🔥🔥

Can’t wait until these boys next hit the UK.
Forever The number one hot new band!

Blink-182 // Buddha

If you take any notice of what I post you’ll know I fucking love Blink, and I have since I was a little kid. My first intro to them was Enema with initially only getting my music from TV and radio, but when I could I’d spend my weekends heading to town and spending all my saved pocket money on CDs, seeing there was more Blink available blew my mind and I picked up Buddha, Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat as soon as I could. Even as a kid I loved the rough and raw sound of the earlier albums, Buddha hits right out of the park with that iconic bass riff and I was hooked!

I’m not one for collecting variants of records but when I started i actively avoided coloured pressing, not sure why, but now that I’m seemingly addicted to the point I probably need an intervention, although I already have Buddha, I had to pick up a coloured variant and this one is so sick, love a pressing that matches the cover art, and love all the little details with the poster and postcard too. Now just to get the rest of Blinks discog in all its coloured glory 😂

Buddha is the debut album from Blink-182 recorded as more of a demo in 1994.

THE STORY SO FAR.

Next up on my Warped tour collection posts, The Story So Far. Big fan of these guys, they kill it with every single release and every single show. The crowd atmosphere at their shows is on another level, who’d have thought one of the strongest forms of therapy would be squashed in a hot sweaty crowd shouting and pointing for an hour 🤍

Saturdays At Your Place // Always Cloudy

Very quickly becoming a favourite of mine, S@yp have pulled me in with every emotional lyric and every single twinkly guitar riff. I was lucky enough to catch them twice this past month, once at Warped Tour and once supporting Free Throw on their UK tour, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Bumped into Mitch in the street too before the show and he was super friendly guy, can’t not love these guys. Cant wait to hear more from them!

Now if someone can just help me get hold of Something Worth Celebrating that would be great 🙌🏼🤞🏼

ARM’S LENGTH.

Next collection up for the one and only Arm’s Length. Not an easy choice with so many of my favourite bands playing but I’d have to give Arm’s Length best set of the weekend for me at @vanswarpedtour . They bring it every single time, 30 solid minutes of an emotional roller coaster. Not sure what it is but there guys get me feeling feelings uncontrollably. Half an hour of screaming my lungs out and tears streaming from my eyes (it was sweat from the heat, honestly).

I can’t wait for what the future brings for these boys. Already got tickets secured for a few shows next march when they support Sleeping with Sirens. Holding out for another UK headline tour though in 2027 🤞🏼

Knuckle Puck // Copacetic

This is another one of those bands that just seemed to pass me by, always heard the name but never really given them any time, after hearing a few songs recently I decided to check them out and started with their debut album, or at least this 10 year anniversary version. Pop punk at its finest, great record from front to back. Gutted I missed these guys at last year’s Slam Dunk festival. Will definitely catch them next time they tour and look forward to digging into the rest of their discography.

Copacetic is the debut studio album from Knuckle Puck, released in 2015, with this (Remixed/Remastered) version releasing in 2025.

BOSTON MANOR.

Next little collection post for one of my @vanswarpedtour top bands. Another no skip discography for me, love everything they’ve released. Still need to source a few more records yet but some are difficult to find coloured variants in the UK.

When these boys first got announced at Warped I was buzzing, at the time they had no UK shows on the cards other than maybe Slam Dunk, so I was glad I’d get to catch them again this year.

Obviously they fucking killed it, set was perfect for a short spot and they owned every second on the stage. Cant wait to get to their Be Nothing anniversary shows in Manchester later this year now.

I was lucky enough to bump into @mikebstnmnr @ashxwilson & @danbstnmnr wandering the site and managed to pluck up the courage for my socially inept ass to say hi and have a chat with them, apologies for being awkward as fuck, I’m working on it 😂 They were super cool and welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in taking the time for a fan of the band. Top guys, and shit like this only increases your love of a band 🫶🏼 thanks lads appreciate it.

Four Year Strong // Four Year Strong

This self titled offering from the FYS boys is a banger that I really don’t hear spoken about enough. Solid from start to finish packed with the usual energy we’ve come to expect.

As I’ve banged on about enough in previous posts, I fucking love this band and I won’t keep pushing for UK tour soon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 If I had the money best believe I’d be heading to their Seven Hills festival, hearing Rise or Die Trying in full would be a dream!🔥 Seen Dan a couple of times the last year smashing it with New Found Glory but just makes me want to see FYS even more.

FREE THROW.

To celebrate ticking off a huge bucket list item of going to @vanswarpedtour I wanted to do a few collection posts for some of my favourite bands I got to see this weekend.

Free Throw were band 2 on day one and they really kicked the weekend off in the best way! They had just kicked off their set as I arrived to the main stage, I somehow managed to fight my way through the crowd and with a little mosh pit manipulation managed to get to the barrier. They killed it, and @corystylez always seems like he’s having the best time! Some infectious shit! Getting my hand on the setlist just rounded it off nicely! Cant wait for them to hit the UK next month to see them in Newcastle and at @outbreakfest

Alexisonfire // Crisis

Had an absolute banger of a weekend at @outbreakfest this year, and was lucky enough to get my hands on a signed copy of this 20th anniversary / Manchester variant specific to this show. This album is super special to me and getting to hear it in full was something else, screamed every word and cried like a baby through the entire set. It’ll be a core memory I’ll never forget that’s for sure.

For Alexis alone this weekend was incredible but throwing in everything else Outbreak had to give made it even better, including a couple side missions, a 3am Knocked Loose set followed by an hour sleep in my car and then an Outbreak/Adidas 5k to start the Saturday.

Blink-182 // Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

Probably one of my favourite albums of all time, this was spinning on repeat in my CD player for months on end when it released, and was the soundtrack to my early teens, those years where you think you’re starting to figure this shit out (you’re not). It’s got everything from the fun pop punk bangers, heavy hitting emo anthems, to the just downright disgusting/hilarious (you know the bonus track I’m talking about).

This album will always hold a special place in my heart and solidified a life long love of Blink-182.

With the 25th anniversary of this album being this week and all the vague posts, I’m holding out so bad for a repressing of this record and a UK tour for next year 🤞🏼🤞🏼
