Make it 3 wins for Jim Brown during @bikechicagogrit in 2026. The former Ribble Rebellion rider (RIP) has found a new home at hit his stride with Legion. The fun thing about this series is that Marco and Tom find courses that are anything but straight forward. From an overhead view you may think you’ve got a race dialed but when you do the first lap you realize the diabolical minds of these race directors have truly found yet another special course. A shout out needs to go to @sebasbrenescycling of @goodguysnyc who continues to fight the hard fight. He’s carrying the full weight of the third best city in America on his shoulders against full teams of riders and coming in again and again with results. by @criteriumnation

Skylar Schneider’s run through @bikechicagogrit which now includes 5 wins and a second place over the first 8 days of racing is incredible. Especially when you look at the other women in this top ten from last night’s race at Elgin. But let’s not overlook that the mother-daughter duo of Paola and Javi Munoz is becoming a recurring and inspiring theme in these races. by @criteriumnation

Legion of LA is having a great @bikechicagogrit . Last night @sky_schneider_ won the women’s race in Northbrook and then @jimmersbrown took the W in the men’s race. That makes 5 wins for Skylar (including at Elgin tonight) and 2 for Jim. Lombard at @bikechicagogrit is a personal favorite for me. I grew up not that far from the race course and Rainbow Cone is located a few blocks south making my post race ice cream run way easier. The course features high speed and a long finishing stretch where riders can max out the 54x10. The men’s race was particularly exciting with @jimmersbrown surging to a celebration just a touch too soon because @cbikemore of @teamcadencecyclery nipped him at the line. The good news, we get to watch them do it all over again tonight and every night through Sunday. 📸 by @theshoestarphoto by @criteriumnation

The CAT 5 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS is just 4 days away and you won’t want to miss it. We start the day with a 5k, and have an incredible lineup of activities throughout the day including the @jessewhitetumblers a divvy race, community bike ride and more! And while the World’s is, obviously, the main event…. Fulton Market is the 4th race of the prestigious @americancritcup The battles for domination continues in the pro and juniors fields.
