SEA HOUSE | The primary bathroom at Sea House continues the soft neutral tones, warm timber and understated style, creating a cohesive feel throughout the home.

Textured feature tiles in the shower introduce another layer of depth, while a decorative floor grille adds a small but distinctive finishing touch.

SEA HOUSE | The coastal feel flows through to the bathrooms with the warmth of natural timber and softly textured tiles evoking the colours of sand and stone.
Precise cabinetry, a clean white bench top and wall mounted tapware complete the space.

SEA HOUSE| A coastal kitchen with an industrial influence. At Sea House, muted colours and light timber create a beach-house feel, balanced by the slightly industrial cabinetry. Precise joinery and carefully aligned cabinetry keep the finish clean and consistent.

SEA HOUSE | Another example of the small details that define the Critique bespoke difference at Sea House.

Following on from our integrated return-air vent detail, this cavity sliding door is another feature designed to disappear seamlessly into the space.

A soft-close mechanism prevents the door from striking and damaging the plaster wall, while a precision relief cut in the skirting allows the door to close completely flush.

Considered details. Clean finishes. Nothing overlooked.

SEA HOUSE | It’s the details you shouldn’t notice that make the difference.

At Sea House, the return air vent beside the stairs has been integrated directly into the cabinetry by our cabinet maker, avoiding a standard aluminium grill and allowing a functional necessity to become part of the joinery.

It’s a small detail, but exactly the kind of consideration that defines the Critique bespoke difference, resolving the practical elements of a home with the same care as the features designed to be seen.

SEA HOUSE | Natural light was a key consideration throughout this home.

In the hallway, aluminium highlight windows are positioned to draw plenty of natural light into the space, highlighting the warm timber flooring and architectural ceiling lines.

Thoughtful construction details that make a significant difference to how the home feels and functions.

SEA HOUSE | Exterior

The owners of this home wanted a place that felt like being perpetually on holiday while using materials that reflected the natural landscape.

A mix of Weathertex finishes brings the exterior of SEA HOUSE together, with painted cladding alongside stained Weathertex in Natural.

We also custom clad the garage door in Weathertex for a seamless finish across the front elevation.

Spotted Gum battens from @outlasttimber screen the deck, with stone supplied by @yarrabeestone, @rylock_geelong throughout and powder-coated window pelmets completing the exterior.

Thought I would start adding some reels showing the process and our level of detail!
The client wanted a concrete bath in this original bathroom! Designer designed an amazing room and we made it happen, with a beautiful tile from @artedomus, @brodware tapware, @laker.studio hooks and beautiful @pittelladesign handles, this bathroom has not had a single detail over looked!
I spent hours setting this room out to work full tiles, the entire floor and underside of bath tiles are heated to maintain temp as concrete baths will suck the warmth out of the water! The drain is a slot drain in the bath that runs a gate valve to drain so no unsightly plug cast into the concrete. (Drain is not in the video was a long lead time🫠)

This is just one of 3 bathrooms of this amazing home set in Mother Nature itself, there is a point in building when it becomes art and I think we have reached it!!!
