POSTS STORIES REELS

I think we have all been waiting for this moment... I know i have. How crazy it is to see that my changes and what I did to improve this book after having the learning curve of the century 😂 i think it has come up quite good. It was a shock mid way through the year to realise that the book i had loved so much had become one that no longer made me want to reread it. Going back to the drawing board i worked harder than ever and now here I am quite proudly rereading it and loving every second of it. The ARC reviews have done wonders for helping me see that there is indeed a market for everyone's books, you just have to find it. i have been incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing ARC team and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey, you truly are one of a kind.

Honestly some days I feel like i'm drowning. Drowning in expectations (my own), unspoken rules, limitations we never put on ourselves. I hate that i doubt what I do and that sometimes the louder the cheering the louder my brain screams 'you don't deserve this'. Just because i'm succeeding doesn't mean i feel like i am. That has never been more true in my life than right now. If you are struggling with those doubts, drop in the comments what is keeping you going?

Day ONE of dropping a random quote a day until release!!!! I cannot BELIEVE Cineres is about to be yours. Something about this whole journey has really reminded me of what made me start this in the first place. I don't have the words to describe this feeling and I probably never will, but just know that this would not have been possible without all of YOU.

Okay, with just over a week until my release day I thought it was high time I did a appreciation post for those who have been my biggest supporters throughout this journey. You have all been amazing and the friendships I have made i will cherish forever. Booksta has well and truly become my home and as Cineres nears release I have to sit back and really look at what got me here. You are a massive part of that.

Sorry for the insane amount of slides btw, way too many people to thank 😂😂😂

confession: i have a problem. i start new books before i finish the other ones. i fully intend to finish them all 🤣 it will happen.

everything got derailed when ACOSH came out and i immediately started the audiobook at 6 AM. once that's done im going to finish MOTHSBLOOD by @lynndjung and then ALCHEMISED by @senlinyuwrites . i was reading NEUROMANCER but i had to DNF it... ill wait for the show to come out in january 🤣

i also want to shout out all of my indie author friends who published their books recently!! see the tags on their photos~

when i get this list down a little, im going to start ANATHEMA. gotta see what one of the most popular gothic fantasy novels has to offer~

what are you currently reading?? 💜✨

Wow, so over the last two years... Everything has changed drastically. We have been able to build ourselves up from the ground and create something that will aim to make a difference in our community. There are numerous people we would love to thank, but here for now is just a few.

@rhiannonbrown.writer.artist thank you for taking an author's dream and making it a reality, you are truly an amazing and creative individual and we could not be more grateful for all you have done.

@kinga.writes you brought the idea from the mind of an author and created a real and tangible character, somehow managing to embody pieces of Val that were never even known unless you read the book first. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating such an amazing artwork and for always supporting us.

The Burnt Cigar Creative Website is now officially live and there isn't much else for us to say. We hope that you find something that interests you, fascinates you or makes you think in amongst these website pages.
