Welcome to Episode 1
of Stash Roulette! 🎰🧶

I am pairing up some of my yarn stash with a pattern, I have numbered them all, and now fate decides what I crochet next.

Today, the roulette wheel landed on Project No. 66

We are pairing this beautiful Stylecraft Impressions shade: End of Summer
with the following pattern:
The Bubble Beanie by Natasha Maynard @hmbb_insta

I think this will be a great quick make for my 1st episode 🥰

So what do you think of my first project is it a match made in heaven ?
or am I headed for a frogfest? 🐸

Thought I would do a WIP (Work in Progress) Wednesday 🧶

So for my Stash Roulette Series I am currently working on project 46 and I have paired up a mixture of @Kingcole Cottonsoft Shade Ecru with some lovely hand dyed yarns from @sewhappyyarn and @duckydarlings

And I am making The Pick ‘n’ mix sweater by @craftandacuppa and I actually love how this is working up.

For the amount of yarn I had I am doing this in the small size and have done the back panel already 🥰

I still have my large shell stitch blanket which is growing and I am doing a bit of this inbetween my stash roulette projects.

And then my on the go and knit and knatter project are festive Windspinners.

A little heads up if you are interested in making some festive Windspinners I along with @whichcraft_wools will be doing a festive Halloween Windspinner workshop on Tuesday evening on the 20th October so make sure you are following them for cost, time and details on how to book your spot. 🧶🎃👻🧙🏻‍♀️

Today, the roulette wheel landed on Project No. 46

And we are going to be making The Pick ‘n’ mix sweater by @craftandacuppa

This has been on my todo list for quite some time and with the amount of yarn I have I am going to try and make small size sweater.

I am not sure if I matched this correctly but i do love all the different colours as they remind me of a pick ‘n’ mix don’t you think ?

EPISODE 2 COMPLETE! 🧶✨

No. 73 — Golden Glow Cowl

This was a great easy pattern and I would definitely make this again 🥰

I started this around 5pm last night and finished it this morning so another nice simple make which loved.

The Pattern is by Becky Skuse
And I got this from one of the @simplycrochetmag

The Yarn was @knitsirdar Jewelspun Shade 0850 Tourmaline Dream
I purchased this wool from @whichcraft_wools

This was a lovely make and there was a stitch in this Bubble Beanie that I hadn’t done before which is always a bonus when you learn something new 🥰

I Tested out my lBingo Balls yesterday and there wasn’t enough 😬

So I have solved my issue. I found an app called Spin The Wheel Random Picker and I have now got my own roulette wheel to pick out my projects… Yay .. see you Friday for the start of my new series … Stash Roulette, where I am lettering fate decide what I crochet next.

My new series … Stash Roulette will start on Friday 2nd October.

I have gone through my stash and I have been pairing up my yarn with a pattern and we are going to let fate decide what I crochet next.

Over the weekend I have paired up some more projects and I have stopped at 100 ! Yes that’s right I have 100 projects 😬

All that’s left is for me to test out my bingo balls and make sure I have 100 of them.

I am so excited to start my new stash busting series and If you are a fellow yarn lover with a yarn stash that is slowly taking over your home, then this is the series for you.
