Cup action awaits as Crondall take on Zingers FC in the Frank Sheridan Senior Invitation Cup!

It hasn’t been the best start to the league campaign, but the cups bring a fresh opportunity to turn things around and build some momentum.

Time to put the league form behind us, raise our game and get that winning mentality back 🦁 taken in Hackney Marshes by @crondall.fc

FULL-TIME — A TOUGH ONE TO TAKE.

Crondall were at home to Hackney Wednesday yesterday, and after last week’s defeat, we needed a strong response.
Unfortunately, it was the same outcome. Just not good enough. We know the standards we’ve set for ourselves, and right now we’re not meeting them. But we’ve been here before. We’ve had difficult spells, and we’ve always found a way to turn things around.

There’s no hiding from it. We need to do better. taken in Hackney Marshes by @crondall.fc

Our first game in the new league saw us face the reigning champions, The Gun.

A slow start left us 3–0 down at half-time. We showed real character to fight back with two goals in the second half, but the damage had already been done.

Final score: The Gun 4–2 Crondall

A tough introduction to the new league, but plenty of lessons to take forward. We’ll regroup, put in the work and come back stronger.

One game down. Plenty more to come.

Crondall took on Stratford Juniors in the final game of the Hackney & Leyton Division One season. The stakes couldn’t have been higher — a win for either side would crown them champions, while defeat would see them miss out on promotion altogether.

After a three-week break, we started slowly and took some time to find our rhythm. Just as we began to settle into the game, we were caught on the counter-attack and fell 1-0 behind. Not long after, a Stratford Juniors player received a second yellow card, giving us a numerical advantage.

The second half started in perfect fashion with a sensational free-kick bringing us level. From that moment, the boys sensed blood — and they went for the kill. Taking full advantage of the extra man, we dominated the game and punished Stratford with some clinical finishing.

Final Score:
Stratford Juniors 1-5 Crondall FC

The journey to this title wasn’t straightforward. A difficult spell in the middle of the season saw us suffer five consecutive defeats in a row. We argued, we battled, and some even walked away. But the lads stuck together, regrouped, and showed incredible character to turn things around when it mattered most.

From adversity to champions.

Final game of the season.
Crondall FC take on Stratford Juniors in the biggest game of our campaign.

A win crowns us Division 1 champions. Anything less could see promotion slip away, with three other teams still fighting for the title.

The boys have had a few weeks off, but they’ve been focused and ready for this moment since the very first game of the season.

Everything comes down to this.
Get down and support the team for what promises to be a massive final-day clash that could go right to the wire. by @crondall.fc
