✨ Bedroom Reveal ✨

I can’t even say it’s fully done because I still need to get some pictures / mirror and other bits for it BUT it’s nearly there and I’m SO happy! 9 Months in the Castle and I’ve finally got a carpet - safe to say I’m THRILLED with it! So cosy! Definitely worth the 6 month wait ….🤣🤣 can’t believe I started it before Xmas and it was also pink 🤣🤪🫠🫣

🍃 THE REVEAL 🍃

What a week it’s been 😂😅🥹
So proud of this little space I’ve created. Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on, supported me, sent me messages of encouragement, advice and followed along on this journey! 🥰🙌🏻
Doing a Reno solo is no joke and apparently neither is doing a garden / yarden 🤣😅 Appreciate you all so much ❤️🥰

While there are still a few tiny bits to do - stain the wooden boarder / paint the window etc happy with what I’ve done so far - now it’s time to crack on with more of the inside because there is still A LOT to do 😂🙃👌🏻🫣🫠

Did I do it all for under £550? All will be revealed in the price breakdown video! 😏

Colours / products all listed.

Paint :
Wall and steps: Anthracite Grey - Sandtex masonry paint
Back gate : Anthracite Grey - Zinsser Allcoat
Wooden Ladder : Hessian - Rustoleum
Plant pots : Sea Grass / purple Pansy - Cuprinal

✨ High Protein Bagels ✨

With only TWO ingredients 😍👌🏻

When I say I’ve had this recipe saved for MONTHS - could even be years 🤣🫠🙃 …and the amount of money I’ve spent on protein bagels that taste nowhere near as good as these PLUS these are higher in protein 👌🏻

Makes 4 Bagels

250g Self raising flour (OR Plain and then just add 2tsp on baking powder)
250g Greek Yoghurt (I used 0% Fat from @lidlgb )

I topped with Everything Bagel seasoning but you could add anything you like or leave them plain.

Cook on 180 for 20-25mins

Save but also MAKE immediately - let me know if you do 👌🏻🙌🏻

Whilst this Reno has had its own “character building” moments doing it a second time round has felt easier in so many ways. These are 3 things I wish I knew when I started out - what would you add? ✨

With it forecast to rain for the next week ….here’s some pics of my recent yarden makeover.
It really is crazy what some paint, furniture, plants and lights can do to a space! Oh and not forgetting a big clean up! Let’s hope I can get the furniture back out soon (it’s currently in the kitchen because I don’t have a cover for it yet…🤣🤪🫠🙃) and enjoy some picky bits in the sunshine! ☀️☀️☀️☀️

Products / colours used :

@sandtexpaintsuk Anthracite masonry paint
@zinsseruk Anthracite for the Back gate, Windows, Handrail
@rustoleumuk Hessian for the ladder
@asda for the Garden Furniture

Paint colours used:

Floorboards / Skirting / Door frames - Oyster
@rustoleumuk

It’s already feeling and looking so much better 😍🙌🏻

✨ Hallway Refresh - Part 1 ✨

With my first over night guests coming to stay I wanted to make sure that the areas they would be in were as clean and fresh as possible so needed to freshen up the hallway! It’s a BIG space so a freshen up was all I could do at the moment but oh my - what a difference a bit of paint really can make!

Anyone who followed the garden makeover will be pleased I tested out the paint colours before buying anything 🤣💁🏻‍♀️ Hope you’re proud of me 🫠🙃

Started off by ripping up the carpets, testing the colours and doing a coat on what I call section one - follow along to see how it turns out 👌🏻✌🏻
