Last range day before the baby comes!

300, 400, 500, and 600 yards off a barricade with no support.

I dialed for the first target, then held for 400, 500, and 600. Small targets at 300 and 400, with larger targets at 500 and 600.

Managed to bring my time down from 40 seconds to 14.96.

Great training today. Practiced a lot, learned a lot, and figured out a lot.

Every day, a little bit better.

@dryfire_king aka ‘me little show pony’ let it always be known that I am t’man of me word!

700 yards- 8inch steel. 13.9” barrel 3 consecutive hits(missed the first one on purpose to give you false hope!)

I got a bit overzealous (sorry mate please be my mate still)

Another comp in the books
Did some ninja sh*t
Did some not-so-ninja sh*t

Cleaned stages I would never have been able to shoot 6 months ago(left handed rifle 500 yards being one).

Made some school-boy errors that I’m addressing.

Sprained my ankle really bad- but kept moving!

Finished in the top 30% on the harder competition day!

Plenty to be proud of- plenty to work on!

I’ll be back!
Bosh ya slags 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

Excited to be back racing biathlons. It’s been nine months since my last one, and I’ve been heads-down at The Tactical Games, so I can’t wait to see the progress I’ve made, test myself, and see all the old and new faces out there.

Proud to run for @oedactual @oedefense again (albeit I’m a truly terrible ambassador 😅). Genuinely the best two-gun biathlons in Texas.

Huge thank you to everyone who’s supported me and my kit sponsors along the way. Crossfire would be nothing without you, and I don’t take a second of it for granted.

This’ll be my last race for a little while, we’re welcoming our baby girl into the world in just a few weeks, and that’s the main event now.

I’ll be running this one with a heavy heart. This one’s for my mate Nick. Rest easy, brother.💔

Went into the first stage and cleaned it with a great time, running a 5.56 in denim shorts because, well, the internet made me do it. 300, 500, 700, done. Lost my way a little later (rushed a couple I should’ve owned, still learning when to slow down), but I’m genuinely happy with where my shooting’s at and the progress I’m making.

But honestly, the shooting was only half of it.

What a bunch of lads. Huge thank you to Rob Mills(@deadheadprecision ) for putting it all together, and to my squad! what a laugh we had! With some seriously good shooting amongst us. It’s awesome to compete in a sport that’s as fun as it is technical and competitive. That’s such a rare thing.

And then I got to drive straight from the range to our baby shower, surrounded by the people we love, celebrating the little girl who’s about to change everything.

I’m posting this one for me. So that one day I can look back and remember exactly how this weekend felt. Grateful doesn’t cover it.

SUPPRESSOR COVERS- My 2cents… or pence..

One of the things I’m building with @crossfireperformance is simple: highlight and curate the gear I’ve actually used and genuinely rate. The stuff that earns its place.

Today, suppressor covers.

I’ve been through a lot of them. Most are as useful as an ashtray on a motor bike. Some, very ironically named ones, literally caught fire. If you’re going to shoot suppressed, and I do, a cover that actually works isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s non-negotiable. The alternative is a scorching-hot can against your back mid-stage- nuhuhhhhh.

The ones I run now are from @libertysdefense . No affiliation, I bought them with my own money. I’ll be straight- they ain’t cheap. But neither were all the ones that failed me. You’re better off buying one of these than three that don’t do the job. Buy once, cry once- you know the drill.

These actually work. Shout out Liberty Defense. Bosh 👊🏽👊🏽 taken in Houston, Texas by @crossfireperformance

Wasn’t feeling my sharpest today. Tired, honestly. But I went and competed anyway, because there’s nothing like putting yourself out there to actually improve, especially when you’re not feeling it.

Weather meant every stage was shot stationary, a lot of offhand shooting, which isn’t my comfort zone. So I took it as a chance to work a weakness and get the reps in. Had some malfunctions with my biathlon comp pistol too, so that’s a project for the range this week. But that’s competing: you find the failure points by showing up.

Best part wasn’t the shooting though. The owner, Frank, @izgunclub caught me before the match to say a bunch of the guys had been asking about me since the two-gun here a couple months back, that I’d left a solid impression. That genuinely made my day. Made me think the thing I care most about isn’t where I place, it’s how I leave people. Met some more good ones today too. by @crossfireperformance
