A joy to be had by all ~ an eternal thank you to @john__maus and @strangenewstouring for having me last week & to everyone who came early to catch my set and bought a tape. It means the world!

It’s a once in a blue moon ordeal but I can assure you I’ll be playing live more once I’ve returned from gallivanting across the UK & EU xxxxxxxx by @crossingwater

John Maus tour kicks off tomorrow! Wellington + Auckland shows incoming.

From cult classics to Later Than You Think, he’s built a world that feels equal parts devotion and distortion. Now, he’s finally landing in Aotearoa. New record in hand, baritone locked in, and a live show thats all synths, sweat and something close to transcendence.

WEDNESDAY 6 MAY - MEOW, WELLINGTON with Crossing Water
THURSDAY 7 MAY - DOUBLE WHAMMY, AUCKLAND with Powernap

Tickets via banished 🪐

My flat may have flooded but I WILL be releasing a new single next week 🙏🙏🙏

The following week I will also be opening for THEE @john__maus at Meow on Wednesday May 6th. A dream come true 💐 Let’s pray I can recover some of these audio files from my laptop in time for the set.

Fun fact re new single, I kid you not it features a lyric in the second verse “knocking on your door as the waters rise, thank your lucky stars it’s the dead of night” which must’ve been some preemptive act of intuition! Written last September. The future is often handed to you before you’re even aware of it.

In the words of Dr Maus, “…and the rain came down, down, down, down…” ~ only chance to see me live for a bit. Tickets from banishedmusic.com / link in my bio x

All thanks to @strangenewstouring 💐 by @crossingwater
