Please help us welcome one of the most impactful leaders now walking with us at CrossPath Movement — Scott Beckwith.

Scott has been a loyal servant of Jesus Christ since high school, mentoring and discipling through ministries like The Navigators and FCA. He’s a devoted husband, father, mentor, and brother in Christ whose life is marked by humility, strength, and purpose.

A former wrestler at Drake University, Scott was a team captain, MVP and known as the Hardest Worker on the team—so much so, the team created the Scott Beckwith Award in his honor. His legacy didn’t stop on the mat.

He later served as a leader in his family’s business, Fareway Stores, founded in 1938 on the values of fairness and integrity. Fareway is known not only for business success, but for investing in people—including scholarship programs, supporting first responder and military marriages as well as many children’s benefits .

To Scott, success has never been about status—it’s always been about leading others to the truth of Jesus Christ.

Today, Scott stands as one of the top leaders of CrossPath Movement, helping shape the vision, the mission, and the lives of every member. We are beyond blessed to have him guiding this journey.

Season 2 ❤️🦅

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words how much it means to me to be stepping back onto the mat this season

A year ago, I would have given anything to be in the position I am today. Having to step away from the sport I love was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. Watching others get to compete, practice, and do the things I so badly wanted to do while I had to sit on the sidelines was heartbreaking. There were moments of frustration, tears, unanswered questions, and days when I wondered if I would ever feel like myself again

But looking back, I can see how God was working even when I couldn’t understand what He was doing

That year taught me things wrestling never could. It taught me patience when all I wanted was answers, strength when I felt weak, and faith when I couldn’t see what was ahead. Most importantly, it taught me that so many of the things I once took for granted were actually blessings

I used to think the hardest part of wrestling was the practices, the conditioning, the losses, and the sacrifices. But I learned that sometimes the hardest part is having the heart to keep going when you’re physically unable to do what you love

And now, here I am. Getting ready for another season. Getting to lace up my shoes, walk into the wrestling room, embrace the hard practices, and step onto the mat again. Things that once felt so ordinary now mean more to me than I could ever explain

I don’t know what this season will hold. I don’t know how many wins or losses are ahead of me, or what challenges I’ll face. But I do know that I won’t take a single opportunity for granted

Because I know what it’s like to have this sport taken away. I know what it’s like to pray for the opportunity to do something that I once did without a second thought

This season, I’m not wrestling because I have something to prove. I’m wrestling because God has given me another opportunity to do something I love, and I want to honor Him with it

Guapo messed up my prayer today. I truly treat these boys like my own kids. I’m so grateful God created dogs. Thank you to all the people who love and support my babies 🐶 Rey 👑 and Guapo 😤We do this to honor our Lord Jesus and we hope these prayers can teach something to someone who’s watching out there.
