Pet Loss Grief Support Group
Thursday, November 5
6:00 pm

Crossroads Campus understands that our bonds with animals are among the most meaningful connections in our lives. When a beloved companion dies, the grief can be profound. Yet the loss is often minimized or misunderstood, resulting in unresolved grief.

As part of our commitment to honoring the Human Animal Bond, we are offering grief support groups for people who are navigating the loss of an animal companion. Groups will provide a safe space to share stories, honor memories, and learn tools to support coping and healing.

Whether your loss was recent or years ago, we invite you to join us as we honor and tend to this often-forgotten aspect of the Human Animal Bond.

Our first session will be held 11/5/26 at 6 pm. To sign up use the link in our bio or email Larkin@crossroadscampus.org.
Groups will be facilitated by Stacy Mendell, LCSW, Animal Assisted Social Worker, Certified Pet Loss Support Specialist, and Larkin Willis, BSW, MSSW, and Veterinary Social Work Candidate, intern at Crossroads Campus. by @crossroadspets

Join us at our retail store this Saturday to celebrate Adopt a Senior Pet Month!
Did you know that senior pets are only adopt 25% of the time when they end up in a shelter? We are spending this month to celebrate those powdered sugar faces and highlight all the love they have to give.
We will be running several sales on products for senior pets as well as our adoptable seniors present from 11am-3pm. Bring your pup or just stop by!
Our retail store is located at 707 Monroe St, Nashville, TN 37208 by @crossroadspets

Duchess, our 13 year old lady, had a grand ole time at her first ever event appearance!

Duchess found herself at a rural shelter, owner surrendered after spending her whole life in a home. Despite her circumstances, she continues to be so full of love! Our friends at @casatransport helped us find her and we were happy to welcome her to Crossroads Campus. Duchess was invited to the CASA Pooch Party fundraiser at Strega last night, where she won the costume contest and promptly decided it was bed time (who can blame her? It's hard work being this cute!)

Duchess has come a long way since she first came to Crossroads Campus. She has been fully vetted, had bloodwork done (which came out great!), as well as some supplements to help her mobility. She is great with kids and other dogs, and loves a sniffy walk or to roll in the grass. Duchess would love to find her forever home or even a foster.
