Crypto wallets could soon become a built-in feature of everyday apps. 👀

Ripple has partnered with Stripe-owned Privy to bring embedded wallets to the XRP Ledger (XRPL), making it easier for developers to integrate crypto payments without building wallet infrastructure from scratch.

The integration will support XRP, Ripple's dollar-backed stablecoin RLUSD, and other XRPL assets. Users could send and receive crypto directly within apps, without needing a separate wallet or managing private keys themselves.

But there's another interesting development: **AI-powered payments.**

The infrastructure could also allow AI agents to hold funds and automatically pay for digital services using the x402 payment protocol.

And this isn't entirely theoretical. The XRP Ledger's AI payments ecosystem has already recorded over **14 million transactions**, although most involve very small amounts.

The bigger picture? Blockchain payments could increasingly happen in the background, whether it's a person using an app or an AI agent paying for a service.

**The less users have to think about the technology, the easier it could become to use.**

What could one extra day mean before a cyclone hits?

Quite a lot.

Google’s WeatherNext AI model can produce three-day forecasts for hurricanes and typhoons with accuracy comparable to what conventional systems previously achieved two days ahead.

That matters because traditional weather models rely on enormous amounts of computation to simulate the physics of the atmosphere. AI takes a different approach — learning patterns from historical weather data to generate forecasts much faster and at a lower computational cost.

And WeatherNext isn’t alone. AI-based forecasting systems are increasingly being used alongside conventional models, marking a bigger shift in how we understand what the weather might do next.

AI isn't just changing what we create. It could change how early we know what’s coming.
