“Who knows what miracles you can achieve, when you BELIEVE” 💫Four years ago, on my 18th birthday August 10th 2021 I arrived in Nashville. A little girl from Indianapolis with a big dream to attend an HBCU and become a doctor. Now, standing on the other side of that dream, I can say… it’s happening. Everything I envisioned as a child is unfolding right before my eyes. 🙏🏾This journey was never mine alone. To my mommy, my heart, my hero, my why… thank you. None of this would be possible without your sacrifice, strength, and unconditional love. Every step I take is in honor of you. To my big brother thank you for believing in every version of me, even when the dreams seemed wild! Your support has been my steady ground. ❤️To MINE! My friends i’ve made throughout my 4 years, thank you for becoming my family. I’ll cherish our laughs, late-night talks, and lifelong memories forever. I remember it like yesterday sitting in the student center until they kicked us out then going outside until 3am doing nothing but laughing and creating memories i’ll cherish forever!🤞🏽Tennessee State University, thank you for molding me, empowering me, and making me the woman I am today.
