IM Wisconsin 2026. 8:55:50. 2nd AG. 4th Overall. Fastest run of the day. And not a single part could I have achieved on my own.

1 // FAMILY
The first and biggest thank you goes to @mytaylor86 , the kids, and my Mom, who are by my side at every race. Taking care of every detail, running around course to give me splits, and helping to keep race week stress-free. Seeing the kids out on the course gave me a jolt of motivation every time I ran past them, giving the legs an extra gear. And to all the family and friends that are cheering me along and supporting me thank you. I truly couldn’t and wouldn’t want to do this without you.

2 // COACH
@yoderperformance . Coach Andrew is the epitome of calm. In a two year stretch I’ve been challenged both mentally and physically and his constant reassurance fueled me. Calm conviction day-in and day-out that if we stayed patient and rebuilt step by step, the fitness would come back. He believed I had this run in me long before I could see it myself. I’m lucky to have you in my corner and remember FTSG 😎

3 // SWIM
@rokamultisport and @macbrownister . 56:27, 12th out of the water, 2nd in AG. Always ensuring I have the fastest gear in the water. Wearing a wetsuit that you don’t even notice is the whole point, you just get to focus on executing the swim.

4 // BIKE
@trekbikes what a weapon. On a challenging course managed the 7th fastest bike split while only averaging 211w (NP 235w). Just goes to show the advantage of a dialed set up, here’s the breakdown:
* Frame: 2026 Trek Speed Concept SLR 9 AXS Project 1
* Drivetrain: SRAM AXS with 56T/43T chainring setup
* Cockpit: @fasttt.bike 2.1 Aero Bar with adjustable BTA
* Hydration: @ezgains.co.uk Hydro Gains BTS
* Wheels: @swissside Hadron 650 front and Hadron full disc rear
* Tires: Continental GP5000 S TR @ 70 psi

Thank you to Mark at Trek and to Chris Soden at @strategicfitting for a position that’s aggressive and yet extremely comfortable.

5 // KIT
@theteammauna . The best tri kit in the business. Full range of motion under the wetsuit, aero advantages to rip the bike, and cool enough to let it rip for 2:51:37 on the run. One kit to rule them all, just not throwing this int by @crrtaylo

8:55:50. 2nd AG. Fastest run of the day (2:51:37).

If you told me 12 months ago this is where we’d end up, I wouldn’t have believed you. The last year has been a brutal stretch in my athletic journey, navigating significant injuries, setbacks, and days of questioning whether the body would ever cooperate again.

Days like Sunday are never a solo accomplishment. Above all else, I am beyond lucky to have the support system I do. Having my family in Madison and getting high-5s from my kiddos all around the course made me feel untouchable. Every time I ran past them, the legs found another gear.

And then there’s @yoderperformance. When things were at there’s lowest, he brought zero panic. Just calm, unwavering conviction that if we stayed patient, respected the process, and rebuilt step by step, I would get back to chasing my goals. He never wavered in his belief that I had a run like this in me, even when I couldn’t see it myself. He gave me the roadmap to execute, and on race day, I finally got to see that come through.

2nd in AG, 4th overall, and ticket punched for Kona 2027. Time to rest up then get back to work.

AG35-39: 19th Overall & 1st American 🇺🇸

My 4th World Champs and 17th Ironman is in the books, and what a day it was! While we always want more, this course demanded everything you had. From a non-wetsuit sea swim to relentless climbs and a final run that took every ounce of grit, this race exposed every weakness and highlighted every strength.

The Swim 🏊‍♂️
This was one of my favorites: a mass start, non-wetsuit swim in the sea. I went out hard, settled into a great group, and focused on swimming fast while conserving energy. Came out of the water in 54:25.

The Bike 🚴‍♂️
This course was epic: big mountain climbs, brutal winds, and ripping descents. I stayed true to Coach Yoder’s plan to be conservative on the climbs so I could push hard at the top and be aggressive on the descents. It truly challenged every bike skill I have. Off the bike in 5:34:10.

The Run 🏃‍♂️
Everyone thinks a flat course is easier, but it demands you stay engaged and consistent the entire time. The massive crowds and sunshine were amazing, but the winds made it an ultimate challenge. After two solid laps, my hamstring decided otherwise, zapping my power. Still finished strong in 3:09:56.

Official Time: 9:45:13.

A huge thank you to @yoderperformance, for always having the plan and the right words to calm the nerves - feels like a secret weapon having you in my corner. To my @maunaapparel teammates for all the cheers and support. To @rokamultisport for the epic gear—the Viper X3 feels like cheating in the water. To @precisionfandh for making literally the best nutrition in the world. And most of all, to my incredible family. I truly wouldn’t be here without your unrelenting support.

Now for a much-needed family vacation before we get the body right and get back to work. by @crrtaylo

IM Lake Placid 2025 | 9:09:15
1st M35–39 | 3rd OA Amateur
There’s no better feeling than when your plan, training, and execution all click on race day. IM Lake Placid was one of those rare days where I was able to give everything I had and celebrate the work that went into it.

Huge thanks to Coach Andrew Yoder @yoderperformance for keeping me on track through a chaotic stretch of moving, a new job, and everyday family life—often protecting me from myself in the process.

And of course, to my incredible family & @mytaylor86 for believing in me more than I do and making all the training possible.

To the doubters—thanks for fueling the fire. We’re just getting started. Next up: Nice.

Race Breakdown
Swim | 0:55:45 | 2nd M35–39
The goal was efficiency. Went hard for the first 200m, then settled into a pack. Big thanks to the guy in the Huub wetsuit for the draft—I couldn’t shake you, but we were moving well, so I stuck to your feet. Shoutout to @rokamultisport for the suit that truly feels like a second skin.

Bike | 5:05:08 | 3rd M35–39
After a few waves to the kids, it was time to lock in. As Andrew reminded me (many times), patience was key to having legs for the run. I rode smart, stuck to my watt cap, and worked with others when it aligned with my plan. Aside from a few downpours, it was smooth and steady. My @maunaapparel tri suit was nice and quick and a
b#ig thanks to @precisionfandh for keeping me fueled—100g carbs, 1000mg sodium, 1L of fluid per hour with the carb mix and flow gels.

Run | 2:59:54 | 1st M35–39
The part I’d been waiting for. All the hill work paid off on this tough course. Andrew and I expected a late fade, so we set out at a strong but manageable pace. The difference between my first and last 5Ks? Just one minute.
Really proud of this one and excited to dial it in even more for Nice. The best part? All the high-fives from my kiddos along the way.
Thanks again to @precisionfandh — just water from the course, but still hit 60g carbs and 1000mg sodium per hour with flow gels and tabs in soft flasks.

You stole my heart with that first little bite on my nose before you even came home with us. After 13 months of fighting through heart disease and ultimately heart failure, we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl, Kelley.

Our hearts are broken, but we’re so grateful for the 12 amazing years we had together. You were our guinea pig as we imagined becoming parents, our constant companion, our kids’ guardian, and the world’s best cuddler. You loved us unconditionally, never leaving my side—even bike commuting with me to work in a backpack.

Kelley, aka Bean, you were my best friend and you’ll always be a part of our family. We’ll carry you with us forever. by @crrtaylo

Craig has been a total rock star, taking the kiddos all over town to fun activities!! The Danny Go! Live show was quite the experience, the Red Wings game was so fun (even though they lost), and the SlooMoo slime museum was slimey 😂 We love you Daddy! Thank you for all that you do 😘 @crrtaylo by @crrtaylo

Last weekend we had the opportunity to participate in an amazing experience with Project Mercy and a wonderful group of people! We went down to Mexico for one day to build a house for a very sweet family in need. When we arrived there was a concrete slab and a bunch of plywood. Every person, including our littlest helpers were put to work! We painted, sawed, nailed, hammered … and voila! By the end of the day this family had a house with a living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, and an upstairs loft. What we were able to accomplish in one day was truly incredible! We finished the day with delicious tacos and beers 🌮🍻 Thank you to @ashhaase for organizing this awesome experience ❤️ by @crrtaylo

Long overdue recap from IM California but what a day it was. You train day in and day out, preparing yourself to try and bring it all together on race day, and it is so gratifying when it actually does all come together.

Overall: 8:33:17 - 1st AG, 2nd Overall

After we lost Dad, I questioned whether I was mentally ready to take the start line. The thought of racing without Dad there was too much to handle and all those emotions came pouring out as I looked down the finish line and didn’t see him standing there.

The journey to race day and the training was the most healing part for me. It gave me a reason to get out of bed on the hard days and a place to let my mind be still. And then on race day it gave me extra strength feeling like I was doing this one for the both of us.

I owe a massive thank you to @yoderperformance for helping me navigate these last two months, giving me space when I needed it, helping to make the training fit my life, and giving me the confidence that I was ready. And a huge thank you to my incredible team at @maunaapparel and all the support they provide and to the team over at @precisionfandh, truly the best products on the market. And last but surely not least, @mytaylor86, Mila, Alec, my Mom, and family and friends that are chosen family, I couldn’t do this without you all.

Vegas Getaway is always a good idea!! It was both chill and fun ❤️ We explored new restaurants (KYU is amazing!), snuck into a fun speakeasy, watched the IU game with the Bellagio fountains in the background, saw a new show (Awakening!), and even WON some money at the roulette table (argue all you want with my gambling strategy, but it won me 💲😂)! Had so much fun with you my love @crrtaylo 😘 Thank you to Gigi for watching the kiddos 🥰 by @crrtaylo

IronKids Race in Sacramento 10/26! This year Alec leveled up from the Toddler Trot to the 1/2 Mile race. He took off sprinting 😂 but still finished strong! Mila raced her second time in the Mile race and greatly improved from last year. All those laps at Run Club are paying off! So proud of these Iron kiddos 🏅❤️🏅

This past Wednesday, we said goodbye to our Dad and Poppy after a beautiful and tenacious fight with prostate cancer these past 5 years. Dad truly lived life to the fullest, while setting the most incredible example for our family of what unconditional love looks like. When many would have been angry and said ‘Why me?’, Dad chose instead to make the most of every single day, being intentional with the time that he had with each of us making memories we will cherish forever - fishing in Alaska, adventuring in the Amazon, teaching all 5 grandchildren to ski, and the list goes on and on.

As someone who seeks out and embraces pain constantly, this is a pain unlike any I’ve ever known. The kind that starts so deep inside that you think it’s going to split you in two. Yet with that pain there’s an overwhelming sense of calm and peace knowing Dad is finally able to rest.

The pain is a reminder of what an amazing man he was and how much I loved him. He was my biggest supporter and the best at giving advice and perspective. It will hit the hardest not seeing your face at the finish line to greet me and not being able to just pick up the phone to ‘pick your brain’.

I miss you. I love you. And I’ll see you on the other side. My best bud. Always. by @crrtaylo
