“The Church”acrylic on paper12 x 9 in. / 9 x 8 3/4 in.2026This was a heavy piece for me to paint. It deals with the separation of church and god and my moving onward from those aspects of life and looking towards myself as being my own higher power. So, the trees are shedding as I go through them, I’m born again in a different way, if that makes sense.
