New positive club nights. Ōtautahi, NZ.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Artist Highlight: Sister Act

No strangers to the Ōtautahi scene, Sister Act have been dancing together their whole lives. As a pair of real-life sisters, Georgina and Kerryn like to move, groove, and most of all have fun in the booth.

You can expect an eclectic mix of what Georgina calls ‘tracks that slap’ plus plenty of smiles and spontaneously synchronised dance moves (it’s genetic). by @crumpled.dance

Artist Highlight: Mead

Mead (/miːd/), also called honey wine, and hydromel is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey mixed with water.

Mead of the DJ variety (aka Stephen Bakker) will be serving selections as tasty as this honey based beverage.

A long time friend and Crumpled affiliate, with a solid understanding of the Crumpled sound having been holding down the dancefloors of our past gigs, we are excited to have Mead step behind the decks this time around! by @crumpled.dance

Artist highlight: Cee

Cee is the alias of Chloe Innes, longtime inhabitant of the dance floor turned DJ, born in Tāmaki and now living in Pōneke, frequenting the capital’s iconic clubs such as b.space.

She has a love for progressive house, acid house, and everything 90s. Expect to hear tracks that will keep you dancing all night long!

This Friday !! Crumpled co-founder @maxrodhouse is having one last celebration before heading overseas.
We’re also excited to host @coltercarson alongside him. Outside of being one half of @craigslist_______ , Colter is a talented producer, receiving a lot of international and local recognition for his recent productions - keep your eyes peeled 👀

Extending from their time together doing radio, expect a deep pool of music and a whole lot of fun across the all night endeavour. by @crumpled.dance

This Saturday! We warmly welcome K2K to the third installment of Crumpled.

One of the forefront exports from Aotearoa’s House/Electronica scene and alumni of the Red Bull Music Academy, K2K’s sets are only growing bigger and better, having recently recorded a Boiler Room and playing sets at legendary UK clubs such as Fabric, Phonox, and Corsica.

We can’t wait to host her down in Ōtautahi while shes back in Aotearoa, along side local’s Real Estate and Crumpled’s own Max Rodhouse. by @crumpled.dance

We know it hasn’t been long since our last dance, but we couldn’t miss this opportunity. We warmly welcome K2K to the third installment of Crumpled.
