Positive Transmitter & Crunch Tapes present: David J (Bauhaus / Love & Rockets) plus special guest Paul Wallfisch (ex-Swans) Frannz, Berlin 17 December 2026 Doors: 19:00, Show: 20:00 Tickets on sale from 16.07 via DICE: link in bio 'David J has long occupied a singular space in the musical landscape, moving from the skeletal architecture of post-punk into a realm of sophisticated, literate songwriting that defies easy categorization.’ (The Big Take-Over) A founder member of the highly influential and revered BAUHAUS. Bauhaus spearheaded the post-punk Alternative music scene of the early ‘80’s with a string of innovative albums and singles, including, for many, perhaps their defining moment, a song that is ranked as a classic and feasibly the pinnacle of the entire Gothic scene and beyond, the nine minute plus epic slab of industrial dub that is 'Bela Lugosi’s Dead', featuring the lyrics of David J. Two years after the demise of Bauhaus in 1983, David regrouped with two of his former Bauhaus band mates, guitarist, Daniel Ash and drummer, Kevin Haskins to form the hugely successful Love And Rockets, whose debut single hit gold status in Canada, followed by a top three US single with 'So Alive' which the band capped with a million selling album and sold out stadium tours. A highly acclaimed songwriter, often personal, often observational, all of these qualities are evident on his twelve solo albums. David has also written and directed various stage productions. His memoir, ‘Who Killed Mister Moonlight?’ (Bauhaus, Black Magick and Benediction) was published by Jawbone Press in 2014. A new book of poetry, ‘Rhapsody, Threnody and Prayer’ was published in 2026. His latest album, ‘Songs From The Attic Revisited’ was released this year by Independent Project Records to great acclaim. It will be followed by an ambitious strings-centric double album, ‘Postcards From The Afterlife’ in late November. David J writes: “The album is essentially about the poignant persistence of connection, be it in life or in death. Schisms and transitions. Love found and love lost. Requiems, reflection and revelation.” by @crunchtapesberlin

Crunch Tapes x Positive Transmitter present: Sunset Images (Mexico, Dedstrange Records) Live at 8MM Bar, Berlin 3 November 2026, Doors: 19:00 “In the depths of Mexico City, a maelstrom of sound has been brewing, Sunset Images, a sonic entity -fueled by the unyielding passion of Samuel Osorio- has transcended the influences of krautrock, shoegaze, and punk into a layered soundscape of dissonance, cathartic release, and emotional depth. With a growing reputation for their intense live performances, Sunset Images has shared stages with notable bands, toured extensively across multiple continents and released a series of EPs and a LP that confront violence, racism and misogyny, and had dealt with subjects like loneliness, anger and desperation. This journey has lead them into their highly anticipated debut with Dedstrange, the label founded by none other than the mastermind behind A Place To Bury Strangers and the FX pedal company Death by Audio, Oliver Ackermann, who sought out and brought them into the Dedstrange tribe of sonic outcasts, where Sunset Images has found the perfect home and only label that could match their vision for massively distorted and inextricable sound. Their new album, "Oscilador", set to drop on January 23, 2026, is a sonic resistance manifesto that embodies the perpetual cycle of birth, decay, chaos, and resolution that rules our world. Fractured synths, pulsating vocals, primitive drum beats, and feedback-drenched guitars collide, creating an aural landscape that's both disorienting and irresistible – brutal, raw, and honest, yet accessible, chaotic, and beautiful, like the world itself." by @crunchtapesberlin

Positive Transmitter & Crunch Tapes present: Crocodiles (US) and Shybits Neue Zukunft, Berlin 30 October 2026 Doors: 19:00, Show: 20:00 Tickets on sale via DICE: link in bio Underground rock mainstays Crocodiles are set to descend upon Berlin for a live performance at Neue Zukunft on Friday, 30 October, 2026. Formed in San Diego in 2008 by lifelong friends Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell, the band has spent nearly two decades carving out a reputation for delivering uncompromised, dirty rock’n’roll. Their distinct sound blends fuzzed-out guitars, psychedelic feedback loops, and a gritty garage-punk attitude with infectious, sharp pop melodies - drawing frequent stylistic comparisons to heavyweights like The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Velvet Underground, and The Stooges. The Berlin date is part of their latest European tour, bringing their notoriously chaotic and high-energy live show back to a city that has long embraced their decadent aesthetic. Known for transitioning seamlessly from the lo-fi fuzz of their breakout debut Summer of Hate to the more polished pop textures of later releases, the duo expands into a ferocious multi-piece lineup on stage to fully recreate their wall of sound. Shybits is an international post-punk trio based in Berlin, formed in 2017. They blend 90s alternative rock, post-punk, and cold-wave into a catchy, nostalgic "fuzzy feel-good" sound. Following their 2018 debut EP Idiot Like You, the band released their acclaimed first album Body Lotion in 2022 and their sophomore record What’s That? in late 2024. They have toured extensively across Europe and opened for prominent acts like Yard Act, Gurr, and Art Brut, while also performing on platforms like WDR Rockpalast and NPR's World Cafe. by @crunchtapesberlin
Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present: ROME & Of The Wand And The Moon Passionskirche, Berlin 19 March 2027 Doors: 19:00 Tickets on sale now: link in bio ROME & OF THE WAND AND THE MOON “Our lady of the legion” European tour 2027. ROME will be rewilding the sacred in hallowed spaces and special venues across Europe in the spring of 2027. A unique concert experience awaits: ROME and OF THE WAND AND THE MOON set out on an exclusive European tour through churches, chapels, cloisters, castles, and other historic sites – from London to Milan, from Prague to Krakow, from Berlin to Rome. As demonstrated in its vast back-catalogue of concept albums, Luxembourg's ROME as an artistic entity has always been interested in matters of History, philosophy, spiritual quest, and faith. ROME has studied existential and historical conflicts, but also expressed the sacred through various lenses. It is this complex intersection of profound spiritual expression, personal struggle and the transcendent, that ROME has navigated since its inception. As a project deeply connected with our common European heritage, it is an almost inevitable enterprise to bring this work to places of worship around Europe. ROME, the musical project of Jerome Reuter, presents an exclusive solo set comprised of material from the latest twin albums “The Tower” and “The Hierophant”, alongside a selection of early works rarely or never performed live. Stripped to their rawest essentials, these songs present a radically minimalist folk approach – a spiritual travelogue of magical splendour, introspective longing, and the timeless tension between faith and doubt, tailored perfectly to the unique settings of this tour. Opening the evening is an exclusive solo performance by Kim Larsen as OF THE WAND AND THE MOON. Known for his distinctive world of melancholy, intimacy, and twilight, Larsen has increasingly drawn on the influence of singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 1970s, including Lee Hazlewood, Leonard Cohen, and Serge Gainsbourg. His exclusive set will offer a broad cross-section of his artistic periods. Join us in song in Europe’s houses of the Holy. by @crunchtapesberlin
