WE MADE IT TO NATIONALS!!!

Honestly I'm still taking it all in because this felt kind of unexpected for me; I qualified for divis In 18th place and for day two in 14th. After being just out day two last year and barely missing nationals a few years ago, I almost resigned myself to always just missing out on my goals. I'm so glad to be able to say that is not the case, and leading up to nationals, I will be making sure not to waste this opportunity, and to get everything I can out of it.

Day one was really difficult for me from a power endurance standpoint, and I found myself rapid-firing attempts –which I think stopped me from sending my third climb. Power endurance is definitely something I knew was going to hurt me going into this and my goal leading up to nationals is to make sure I don't pump out on my climbs.

Contrasting from day one, the setting on day two played to my strengths, and I'm very happy with how I executed on those climbs. I was especially proud of my fight on yellow, as I think I gave it all I had, and I was so close to getting the buzzer beater!

Lastly I just want to say thank you to all of my amazing coaches, and especially to @jenna_climbs for supporting me for supporting me these past 4 years! Also thank you so much to my parents because none of this would have been even close to possible without y'all!!!!

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT AND GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE WHO COMPETED!
