hey y'all. thought I would give an introduction to myself

my name is Maire Hughes and I'm a resident from the Northshore side of MA. I am also autistic.

since I was a child I was always heavily involved in the arts, whether it be video production or art classes. I wanted to start doing photography as a little side job recently. in May of 2023 I was at an event at someone's house located in Boston. I was asked by a friend, Erik of @bonginator.ma, to do a group photo of him and the band. he gave me $10 in return. that's when I wanted to pursue this career, and also just have fun. also inspired by other band photographers. mainly @madysoncoburnphotography

I also like music in general. I used to listen to a lot of Japanese city pop and jazz fusion in high school. in 2021 I wanted to expand my music tastes. I met all these incredible people through the internet and I couldn't have asked for better music friends.

I mainly just use my cam and adjust the brightness. I'm horrible at Photoshop. taking those kinds of classes were really hard for me, but I know my camera a little well.

my personal acc is @_c_r_y_o_5_ if you wish to follow into my autism by @cryogenicphotography
