Hello MTV, and welcome to my crib.
This apartment has caused me a lot of grief since moving in 2.5 years ago, and it still is- I’ve struggled to make it feel like home. I spend a lot of time in the lounge, watching tv, drawing, embroidering and completely zoning out. My dad came and popped up a curtain rod for me today and instantly, it’s made this space feel so much more cozy that I’ve been trying not to cry.
I work hard to be able to afford to live here, and some days I imagine selling and moving back home because adulting and managing my health, finances and home are all too much. But I’ve spent so much time thrifting and finding magical little bits and pieces that make this space mine. One day, I’ll have a little cozy witchy/fairy cottage with a garden full of life, but for now, we’ll make it work. It’s not neat and tidy, it’s cluttered, full of life, and I hope that anyone who comes here can feel as though they can make themself at home and be cozy and comfy (even with all the noise coming from the new apartments being built next door, a train line and a main road). ✨💜⚰️🧚‍♂️🦇🌚🌙

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been hunting for ways to deal with my endo (and potential adeno)- and this year I’m finally saying 🪦 RIP, you fucker to my uterus. I’ve tried and tested A LOT of different medical interventions, to the point of mental, physical and financial exhaustion.
I’ve put many things on hold in my life due to this condition dictating the way things play out and I’m beyond keen to take back my power and have control over my body for the first time since I was maybe 12?
Here’s a little list of the most prominent things that worked/didn’t work in my world (forgot to mention anti inflam foods being a life saver) so hopefully you don’t have to spend as much time, money and grief searching for answers.
Another biggie I forgot to mention- I had 3 laparoscopic surgeries. Every time you have one, it causes further adhesions to your organs- not necessarily from the endo, but just how your body reacts to trauma. If i had my time again, would I have had 3? Definitely not. 🦇✨

Today is my 32nd orbit around the sun 🌞
Magical weather has rung in the day, and I’m manifesting it’s a sign of better times ahead.
31 was one of my hardest years and I’m keen to leave it behind. Hoping for nothing but new experiences, creative magic, adventures and freedom over the next 12 months.
Also publicly asking for people to keep me accountable for being creative and putting my art out in the world. I have a habit of supporting and motivating others, but don’t ever follow through for myself. 🦇✨⚔️🪦⚰️🔮🌚🌛
I got myself some new plushies today cause I’m an adult and want to only spend my spare money on things that bring me joy. Highly encourage y’all to do the same. ✨ by @cryptic.violets
