A lot has changed since our last showreel. So we updated it ☺️

Fresh work for adidas, Ubank, Complete Home Filtration, Outride, Inspiring Holdings Ltd and Superlaw Claims, spanning AI-native, hybrid production, character work, live action and everything increasingly happening in between.

Made alongside brilliant partners including We Are Social and Windsorborn, and with our ridiculously talented crew @jodieheenan_ai , Reed Yerien, Luke Burton, @crypto_django , Richard Swan and @williamahunt .

We’ve also mixed in spec work from some of the AI artists we love working with — @mike_bennion_7 , @glamorousreptile, Josef Scholler, David Blagojevic, @_blairvermette and @simonhelmartist — because experimentation remains a huge part of how this medium moves forward.

A pretty good snapshot of where MC&V is right now.

The ambition is to bring together specialist talent with distinctly different creative strengths. The work we’ve made since shows why this is important to us.

For adidas, with @wearesocialau , @jodieheenan_ai created reactive content celebrating the NSW Blues’ State of Origin victory, moving quickly without compromising the craft.

For Inspiring Holdings Ltd, @crypto_django helped tell an emotional product story about a new asthma device, using AI-native production to build a film around a deeply human moment.

For Ubank, Jodie helped develop the personality and animation of Harper under the direction of director @northboysouth , the campaign’s financially savvy puffer fish. A layered production process involving character performance, environmental animation and plenty of iteration. Considerably more complicated than asking for “a funny fish”.

And for @outride in the US, our roster worked alongside the wider MC&V team to create a real-time experience that transformed live brain data into generative visuals as people cycled. From idea to design, development and on-site delivery in three weeks.

Four projects. Four very different challenges.

Reactive social, character animation, narrative filmmaking and real-time technology. Each matched with the talent and production approach best suited to the idea.

That is what we want our roster to make possible.

We don’t offer one AI aesthetic or one way of working. We offer a group of specialists capable of taking on genuinely different creative problems.

Two years of the collective. A new chapter for the roster.

When we officially launched MC&V earlier this year, the collective evolved with us.

What began as a group of pioneering AI artists became a more committed and deliberately specialist roster built around the different kinds of talent modern production increasingly requires.

@jodieheenan_ai brings character, personality and a meticulous animation sensibility to the work, recently helping bring Ubank’s rather financially savvy puffer fish, to life.

@crypto_django combines strong storytelling with the ability to build ambitious ideas through layered, highly considered production.

@glamorousreptile brings a distinctive creative storytelling flair and an instinct for imagery that feels cinematic, surprising and unmistakably his own.

@mike_bennion_7 joined with more than 20 years of experience directing commercials and cinematic stories. His work brings traditional filmmaking craft into AI-native production without losing the emotion at the centre of an idea.

@lukeburtonworks comes from editing, music and experimental filmmaking. His psychedelic, wonderfully unconventional work pushes the medium well beyond polished realism and into much stranger territory.

Different backgrounds. Different aesthetics. Different strengths. That was the point.

As the possibilities of AI production expanded, we wanted a roster that could offer more than one recognisable “AI look”. We wanted specialists with genuine craft and creative identities of their own, backed by a deeper commitment between MC&V and the artists.

The tools will keep changing. The value of exceptional talent only becomes more important.

🚨 New Work Alert: Every Breath Matters – Inspiring Holdings

For someone experiencing an asthma attack, having the right medication is only part of the equation. It also needs to reach the lungs effectively.

Our latest film for Inspiring Holdings tells that story through a mother and her young son. When his usual device fails to deliver the medication he needs, she reaches for Inspiring’s innovative spacer system, designed to make inhaled therapies easier and more effective to deliver.

The Brief
Bring Inspiring’s technology to life through a simple, human story that makes the importance of drug delivery immediately understood.

The Production Challenge
⭐ Making the Invisible Visible
The difference between having medication and receiving it effectively can be difficult to communicate. The film needed to make that distinction clear without becoming overly clinical or technical.

⭐ Building Real Emotion
At the heart of the story is a frightening moment between a mother and her child. Every expression, movement and breath needed to feel believable and emotionally grounded.

⭐ Balancing Urgency and Hope
The film moves from panic to relief in a matter of moments, demonstrating why better delivery can make such a meaningful difference for people who rely on inhaled therapies.

The Result
A powerful film built around one simple truth: Medication isn’t the issue. Delivery is. Every breath matters.

This week we had the pleasure of presenting an AI inspiration session for the Foxtel Group team, exploring how AI can help make things beyond imagination.

Rather than focusing on tools and prompts, we spent the session looking at creative possibilities. Sharing work from some of the incredible artists, directors and makers on the MC&V roster and in the AARON Awards community.

Featured work included projects from @crypto_django , @bravura1 , @kavanthekid , @henry.daubrez , @mike_bennion_7 , @glamorousreptile , and @bruceryder.ai .

A huge thank you to the wonderful Nicole Velik for facilitating such a great day, and to Aaron Michie for inviting us in.

The future will be built by people with the imagination to see what’s possible using their eye for craft and the AI tools.

We’re extremely excited to share that we are working with Canva and Canteen Australia, alongside expanding our AI director roster with @jodieheenan_ai @crypto_django and @glamorousreptile .

A big milestone for our team and a very exciting next chapter for the business.

We’re incredibly grateful to continue collaborating with the teams at Canva and Canteen again, two organisations we’ve loved working with over the years and have enormous respect for creatively and culturally.

At the same time, we’re thrilled to welcome Jodie, Seppi and Jagger to the MC&V roster. All three bring very different creative disciplines and perspectives into AI-native and hybrid production, spanning filmmaking, motion, VFX, world-building and multidisciplinary storytelling.

As the industry evolves, we’re continuing to build MC&V around people who understand both emerging technology and production craft at a commercial level.
