Open Chains in the sidebar and pick Ethereum Mainnet. Check the live transactions per second and transaction cost. Scroll down to see the top apps sorted by DeFi, wallets and token transfers. Then switch to Base and compare the activity side by side.
Bookmark it and use it to keep track of real on chain activity.

Most people don’t know how to use the Base blockchain, backed by Coinbase. It is an ultra fast Blockchain that most people only use to move USDC but if you go to baseberg.app you can see all the unchained activity.

You can create a MetaMask Wallet and fund it directly from Coinbase using the Base network or you can even use the Coinbase wallet if you want.

This is a great place to trade meme coins and high-volatility tokens.
