and yes, every room has one on the balcony overlooking the ocean 👀

one of my favorite details at JOIA Aruba was the private soaking tub on the balcony. after a full day at the beach or pool, this became such a good way to slow down before getting ready for dinner.

honestly, more hotels need to make this standard.

SAVE this if you’re planning a stay at JOIA Aruba 🌴🍽️

One thing I always want to know before booking an all-inclusive: is the food actually good? So here’s our dining edit from JOIA Aruba.

We tried everything from the breakfast buffet and casual daytime spots to the resort’s sit-down restaurants — and there were definitely a few standouts.

🍝 Bucatini — Italian and one of our favorite dinners - get the rigatoni!
🌊 Marea — beachfront dining with a Caribbean-inspired menu. Amazing appetizers. Visit for breakfast too!
🥐 Breakfast buffet — lots of variety and an easy start before a beach day
🍸 ZIMA Rooftop — one of my favorite parts of the resort experience, especially with those sunset views. Food was unexpectedly good. Ceviche, grilled octopus, sliders!
✨ Star Café — a great option for quick snacks, coffee, sandwiches
Overall, the dining variety was a big plus for us — you could stay on property for several days without feeling like you were eating the same thing over and over.
