Late post, but never too late to celebrate my husbandddd! 🎂Happy Birthday!! Another year of life, another year to celebrate YOU, and the beginning of another chapter. This is officially birthday #15 that I’ve had the blessing of celebrating with you, and every year I’m reminded of just how loved you truly are.

One of my favorite parts of celebrating you is seeing the people who continue to show up for you year after year. Friends who have become family since the college days, and new friendships that have come along the way and genuinely poured into you. Your village is deep, strong, and full of love and I’m so grateful for every person in it. Thank y’all for continuing to go along with all of my ideas. 🙃😂

Because listen… y’all I love a good theme and doing a little “extra.” 😏 Milestone birthday or not, I’m going to add a little razzle dazzle!

I’m looking forward to continuing to celebrate you, not just on your birthday, but through every win, every new opportunity, every answered prayer, and everything this next chapter brings. I’m proud of the man you are and excited for the man you’re continuing to become.

Happy Anniversaryyy!🎉🥂 🔟 years ago, at just 23 and 26 years old, we stood before God, our family, and our friends and made a commitment to become one in this thing called life.

Honestly, Ten years/a decade of marriage still feels wild to say. While we’ve been together for 14 years, I can say without hesitation that I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone but you.

You are truly my best friend.

We’ve grown up together literally lol. Since college, we’ve built businesses, nonprofits, created a family, and navigated seasons that stretched and grew us as a couple. Through every high and low, you’ve remained steady. You’ve seen me at my weakest and extended grace in ways I often wouldn’t even give myself. You’re patience…Lord your patience with me and all the thingssss (you know) 😂

When people told us we were “too young” or that we should “wait until 30,” we never allowed outside opinions to dictate what we knew God had already told us. We chose each other then, and we continue to choose each other every day and I truly love that about us.

Marriage isn’t about never facing challenges. It’s about facing them together. Through every season, we’ve continued to push forward hand in hand.

This milestone is a testament to how far we’ve come, but even more, it reminds me of how much more life we still have ahead of us. Looking through these memories only makes me more excited about what’s to come.🙃

Your love is felt daily, and I am beyond blessed to call you mine (my man my mannnn)🤭. Continuing to do life with you is everything, Mr. Holmes.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mamas and mother figures! 💖 We carry alot but this title is an honor to have, and I don’t take for granted. Lately I’ve been seeing the seeds I plant in my children show in their actions with each other and I’m reminded that even when I don’t think they are paying attention, they indeed are.
