F I V E Years since the funnest wedding COVID could offer!

5 years. Countless arguments, countless tears, countless joys, countless cackles…
4 jobs, a 3 year old, 2 homes (oh, we sold our house and bought a new one) and ONE Heavenly Father who’s had to duct tape this one marriage together regularly. All is grace. He holds all things together.

Thought this sweet story from the other day needed a permanent place on my feed🩷
I hope Ruby doesn’t overhear anyone say Aunt Dolly 🦋 died. The silly “Aunt Dolly” joke I said in passing became real to her… she belongs to my little girl. Just as she belonged to all of us. She was and will continue to be so generous, filling our shelves and nightstands with stacks and stacks of beautiful books (To us, it’s books in both Spanish and English!) among so many other things. May we be more like her when we grow up. I sure hope her faith became sight today! taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @crystalgshirk

Love the juxtaposition of something old and weathered like this bucket or mossy statue among something brightly new and fresh like new flowers and branches.

During this Holy Week, I’m compelled to consider the timelessness and solid strength of our Heavenly Father and of course the “old rugged cross” … how I was made new, and yet am constantly being made new (even with my elevens and crows feet) as I’m connected to the one true vine.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” 2 Cor. 4:16 by @crystalgshirk

We have to (sadly) rehome our pittie rescue Maddie. We’ve had her 2 1/2 years, she is house trained, spayed, all her shots, regular check ups. Great with kids! Obviously she puts up with being accessorized a lot.

She struggles with separation anxiety and anxiety in general…she is on medication. We simply do not have the time and capacity to be consistent with her and give her the attention she needs.

She is so sweet and affectionate! She’s just gets stressed, which is typical for a rescue. DM if interested and I will answer all your questions. by @crystalgshirk
