Maybe I should have started writing 3 years ago when I visited the museum of loneliness. But even without art my body remembers it all.

It’s moments of solitude that you find the best ways to come home to yourself. by @crystalinenymph

I hope you are wrapped up in a blanket of rose petals and sage. Sipping tea by candlelight resting on soft earthy rugs of green

Last week, I stared at the mirror and truly looked at what was staring back at me. It was in the barely visible creases. Where the light was so dim you could barely see the way out. It is in the dark soil I surrendered into that I took root.

So quietly I carve into my soul, and dig flower beds for next season. A seasons cycle repeats, a new ecosystem, a new generation. Damper soil, deeper roots, softer earth,

softer and deeper me.

It’s in the silent discards of the most unexpected people, places and things that our egos tries ever best to drop softly that actually always cuts deep. That’s when I find refuge in my poetry. I’m a million different pieces of skin, all patched together with ancient golden string✨ by @crystalinenymph

The art of noticing.

So I decided to stare at an apple and draw it with no prior knowledge of how to draw a fruit, just intuition and observation. By no means great, but the art of being present brought me another state by @crystalinenymph
