Looking forward to a great week at the Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit! The Alliance team has put together a great program. Iā€™ll be wrapping up the Summit with my closing keynote ā€œFueling the People who Feed the Worldā€ with some positive energy and action items to send everyone home with. The very essence of the Alliance is collaboration so this is a perfect fit. Fun fact - This morning I realized Iā€™m really competitive with myself on travel efficiency. I was so excited to clock a time from car drop through security and sitting with a coffee in 30 minutes. Thatā€™s the equivalent of a gold medal in travel efficiency! by @crystalmackay32
Iā€™m so excited to share my new talk at the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef Communicators Summit today! Letā€™s Fuel the People Who Feed the World - a new blueprint for collaboration. GRSB and all the members are the gold standard for collaboration with so many good people in the room. I couldnā€™t think of a better place to connect, collaborate and celebrate! Do you know of an event that could use a speaker on collaboration? Get in touch. #GRSB25 #collaboration #keynote #sustainability by @crystalmackay32

Glamping - for people who donā€™t love camping! Thatā€™s right - two comfy queen sized beds with duvets and fluffy pillows in our cozy log cabin. Nature + a good nightā€™s sleep! Love camping? Cool. Lots of room for 8 others to tent or trailer near the cabin! #glamping #glamp #cabin #ottawavalley #renfrewcounty by @crystalmackay32
10 years ago she played goal in her first game. I wrote a post saying itā€™s only part time in net, maybe she will change her mind. šŸ˜Š #goalie #goaliemom #hockey #hockeylife by @crystalmackay32
What a fun job I had today! Interviewing the Top 7 over 70 award winners. Inspiring doesnā€™t even cover it. What incredible humans. This is not a lifetime achievement award, itā€™s for work started after the age of 70. Come watch their videos and meet them in person at the upcoming gala in Guelph October 29th. Get your tickets from United Way Guelph, Wellington Dufferin. Trust me. You canā€™t help but smile and leave inspired by these good humans! #top7over70 #guelph #wellingtoncounty #unitedway by @crystalmackay32
We had some VIPs at the cabin recently! The people who started it all, our parents aka Nana and Papa. My dad and friends built the cabin with cedar from our home farm about 25 years ago. We enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon with lunch my sister Sherrie made, and tea and scones and jam together. ā¤ļø This is what this property has always been best for - bringing us together. by @crystalmackay32
The Preston Rivulettes A powerhouse in womenā€™s hockey in the 1930s with 10 provincial and 6 national championships. Wow. This is the tribute to them at the Preston arena now home to the @rivuletteshockey I love to read and see tributes like this My question is what happened to womenā€™s hockey after teams like this? Why did it diminish? Iā€™m cheering for all the development in womenā€™s hockey today from the newest skater right up to the pros @thepwhlofficial No one will ask what happened to womenā€™s hockey in 100 years. @hershothockey #hockey #womeninspiringwomen #womenshistory #womeninhockey by @crystalmackay32
And we have a roof! Quick update on our bath house project - roof is on and walls are framed in. Our nephew Cody and crew roughed in the plumbing today. Canā€™t wait to see the new black fixtures in there! #glamping #offgrid #camp #cabin #cabinlife by @crystalmackay32
Hereā€™s a glimpse into our Hidden Valley Glamping property! This week the whole family and friends came together to help get it this far. A ton of work and a few good laughs along the way. Each person brought their talents and ideas to make it even better. Our parents built this place for family to gather. This week our hands are tired but our hearts are full. ā¤ļø Next upā€¦Follow along for progress on the bath house! #cabin #glamping #ottawavalley #familytime by @crystalmackay32
Good progress on the bath house project today! This will have a sink area, composting toilet, and an off grid shower. Still working through a few ideas - like what to put as the shower flooring? Ideas welcome. Follow along to see how it goes! #glamping #camp #offgrid #outdoors by @crystalmackay32
