feels like forever since I taught/filmed this LOL but this piece will always have a special place in my heart. when I first heard the track I got goosebumps & then when I watched @jojogomezxo's choreo I was truly inspired. to create, to dance, to share in these things are such a blessing. also, special shout outs to one of the biggest inspirations in my life: @ildmj for continuing to believe in me & help me grow & @yingscreation for filming!!! she's 💣💣💣 YAH?! full link is in my bio - thanks y'all! 💖

Back where it all started 💜
.
it’s a long caption shhhh
So we had a little session (more like loiter reunion cus we chatted about life and existence for 80% of the time ha). But a very full circle moment.
I started taking my first classes at ILD in 2018, Christina was one of my first instructors and became a vital part of my journey, in life and dance. I came to her class with zero to no experience in street styles (literally a ballerina) it’s a crazy to think I stand where I am today and a huge reason for that is because of Christina 🥹🫂
.
Choreo by Christina @cryuchoreo @cryuuu and some tiny parts by me :3 and our 10pm creative flow lol
.
To Christina: Thank you for always receiving me with open arms, for sharing your time and knowledge (u are literally the person that introduced me to a whole form of dance and made me want to stick with it). It’s so special that you choose to come to those who are learning from a pure place, dancing has a whole different meaning when receiving from someone that’s grounded in their personal approach and view, not to mention how knowledgeable you are, I’m so happy you shared it with me, dance is happy because I learned a lot of it from you, you make me want to remain a student of dance and art. Thank you, hope u aware of how special you are. We’ll dance together again, soon 💜🫂
.
Filmed at the place that feels like home, hadn’t danced at the flushing location in a while, still feels like it did in 2018 🏠💛🖤 @ilovedancenyc @ilovedancestudios
