When a spokesperson is well-prepared and an agency listens closely to what a reporter needs, one interview can go a long way. A recent interview with Prevent Blindness spokesperson Dr. Karen Allison generated three (yes, THREE) articles for the National Council on Aging. It’s a great example of what can happen when agencies work closely with both clients and the media, understand the story, prepare the right expert and make sure key messages are relevant, useful and heard.
