Late post!
Singapore 🇸🇬✨ to it was an experience of a lifetime, made even more beautiful because I got to experience it with the love of my life. ❤️
I got to do solo tourism and ride the subway, it was so amazing 🤩
So grateful for the places we get to see together @grim.matt , the memories we get to make, and most of all, the person I get to share this life with. Every adventure is better with you by my side @grim.matt . ❤️

Yay!!! Another year that we get to pause and thank God for the gift of your life. ❤️

I thank Him for your heart, your dedication, your incredible work ethic, and that constant force within you that is always seeking to grow, improve, and create change. You inspire me in more ways than you probably realize.

Today, I want you to know just how deeply I love you @grim.matt my husband, my lover, my confidant, my best friend, and my constant. There is something so beautiful about knowing that when I look toward the future, I know who I want beside me.
With you, life keeps becoming an adventure. I get to kiss you and our crazy little puppy 🐶, see snow for the first time, travel to places we’ve dreamed about, laugh through the unexpected, and keep working together to become the best versions of ourselves.
Life isn’t perfect, but life is better with you next to me. And for that, I will always be grateful to God.

So today, I celebrate YOU @grim.matt , the man I love, the man I choose, and the man I’m so thankful to walk through this life with.

For more than five years, God has blessed me with you not only as a neighbor, but as a true friend, confidant, encourager, and sister in faith. We have walked through so many seasons together — including separately mourning the loss of our fathers, navigating life’s uncertainties, celebrating the beautiful moments, and always knowing that we can count on one another.

You have been the kind of friend who listens, encourages, challenges me, and helps me grow. And I hope you know how much your friendship means to me. As Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” I truly believe God places people in our lives for a purpose, and I’m so grateful He placed you in mine. ❤️

I’m especially thankful for all the ways you showed up for me — including your incredible help and support with the Jeremiah Project run! You gave your time, energy, and heart so generously, and I will never forget it. But beyond the projects and events, it’s the everyday friendship, conversations, prayers, laughter, and encouragement that I treasure most.

✨ Another beautiful morning at Ignite the Marketplace. ✨
Today, @catherine__jacque’s testimony encouraged me deeply and reminded me that trusting God often means letting go of our need to control the outcome, know every detail, or understand what comes next.

There are seasons when the path ahead feels uncertain, and we want God to give us the whole plan. But He asks us to trust Him one step at a time, believing that He will provide the wisdom, strength, and direction we need when we need it.

I’m learning that surrender isn’t giving up—it’s choosing to believe that God is already ahead of me. 🙏🏼

“Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 16:3 🤍

So grateful for these gatherings, for the testimonies of local business owners, and for the way God continues to speak through each one. My sourdough journey…
What sourdough has been teaching me about life, faith & sanctification…
Back in May, I decided to make my own sourdough starter. I had NO idea what I was getting myself into. 😂 What started as flour, water, and a little curiosity has turned into months of feeding, waiting, discarding, experimenting, celebrating a few beautiful loaves… and mourning a few that were better suited for doorstops.
Some loaves have been beautiful. Some have been heavy. Some have been a little… questionable. And yet, every single one has taught me something.
Because apparently, sourdough is a lot like our walk with God. 😅
The things that are good, healthy, and meaningful rarely happen overnight. They require time, intentionality, patience, consistency, and a willingness to keep showing up—even when the results don’t look the way we hoped.

And maybe that’s the point.

We weren’t created to remain comfortable, nor were we promised that everything would always go smoothly. Growth requires stretching. Sanctification requires surrender. And becoming who God created us to be requires us to continually seek His wisdom rather than relying on our own understanding.

Just like my starter, sometimes I feel like I’m rising beautifully… and other times I feel completely collapsed. 😂 But God is still working. The process matters. The waiting matters.The failures matter.
The getting back up and trying again matters.
And perhaps one of the greatest lessons I’m learning is that God’s wisdom doesn’t always make the process easier—it makes us better equipped to walk through it. ❤️

So here’s to embracing the process, trusting God in the slow seasons, staying consistent when we don’t see immediate results, and remembering that becoming takes time.
And yes… I’m still making sourdough. 🍞😂

Although, in the middle of this HOT summer, I should probably mention that @grim.matt is not nearly as enthusiastic about my spiritual growth when it requires the oven to be on ALL. THE. TIME. 🥵😂🔥
Apparently, sanctification# has a temperature limit in this household. 😂❤️

What a beautiful morning at Ignite the Marketplace! ✨

Today we were reminded of God’s empowerment through obedience and how He faithfully guides us when we trust Him and follow His lead. We reflected on Proverbs 3:5–6, Joshua 1:9, and Matthew 6:33—powerful reminders to trust Him, be courageous, seek Him first, and allow Him to direct our steps. 🙏🏼

I always leave these gatherings with such a deep sense of peace, joy, and gratitude. There is something so special about hearing how God is working through the testimonies of local business owners right here in Moore County. ❤️

Thankful for the community, the fellowship, and most of all, for the way God continues to speak through each testimony. Seek Him first, trust Him completely, and let Him lead the way. ✝️✨ taken in The Southern Soiree on South by @cskipper2016
