Hey! Take a scroll through my gallery —>

Untitled - Wood & Wicker

An experiment with forms, made by the repeated use of the same form x5. Each iteration became slightly smaller. Together they give the semblance of a wooden knot.

Untitled - Steel Sheets & Perforated Steel Sheets

A study in formalism, meant to counter the organic forms of my wooden piece. Each cube was formed by chopped steel sheets and glue.

Soda Quilt - Reused soda cans from the Heritage Apartments bound with steel wire & steel rods welded together

An experiment in repetition using found objects. The colors and design of the cans captivated me. Seeing them as a quilt emphasizes the vibrant colors and highlights the creativity of can design.

Divine Fish Swimming - Shattered ceramic plates, grout, & a wood board

This piece was meant to be considered as a “found artifact” for my art history class. During the Byzantine Era, a prominent symbol of Jesus Christ was the fish. This piece would have been found in a Byzantine Baptistry representing rebirth in water through Jesus Christ.

Kitchen Perspective Drawing - Micron Pens

A depiction of my kitchen in my apartment.

Still Life Study - Pencil

An assortment of objects found in the art classrooms.

Untitled - Magazine scraps

A collage based on a photo I took at my apartment of a utility van with a magnificent sunrise in the background. This piece was meant to convey a sense of beauty or divinity even in the mundane—where human things like utility vans meet divine creation. by @cskouz2
