🌟 No Stars Allowed
A stop-motion film set in a world where stars are forbidden. A small glowing star tries to survive by pretending to be human in a busy corporate office, until something goes wrong.

Such a special evening at Milton Court Concert Hall.

A huge well done to our MACA students and the Guildhall music students for this wonderful collaboration, bringing animation and original composition together with a live orchestra.

So proud of all the animators and composers involved. A brilliant celebration of creativity, collaboration and hard work. @guildhallschool taken in Milton Court Concert Hall by @csmanimation

Very excited to see a selection of our MA Character Animation films screened at Milton Court Concert Hall, Barbican, with live music performed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra.

Over the past year, our students have collaborated with composers from the @guildhallschool across a number of projects, creating original soundtracks for their films. It is wonderful to see these collaborations come together on the concert stage.

A huge congratulations to all the Guildhall composers and our MACA students involved. Such a special opportunity to experience the films and music together live.

MACA Year 1 icebreaker

A bit of #object #theatre to start the year — giving everyday objects a character, playing with performance and getting to know each other at the same time.

A simple way to start thinking about #character, #movement and personality in animation.

First day of induction with our new MA Character Animation students ✨

We joined the Performance Programme induction in the afternoon with students from MA Character Animation, MA Performance: Design and Practice and MA Performance: Screen.
We got to know each other by drawing quick portraits of one another — such a fun way to introduce ourselves!

So many brilliant drawings across the Performance Programme 🎨✏️
