I had the incredible opportunity to work with the fabulous folks at @earlymusicvancouver to create these images to promote their summer festival. This truly was a team effort and wouldn't have been possible without all star efforts by this incredible team.

This series was super fun to work on with the folks at @theimprovcentre. Making parodies of classic sitcoms was right up my alley. Catch the improvised sitcom at the Improv Centre until the end of the year.

Final faves from my shoot with @miss.oei. Using all in camera effects and at least 6 different lights, these images are deceptively simple.

A little peek at a shoot with the phenom @miss.oei from earlier this year. I wanted to test a little tone on tone action and Melissa came ready to play. The suit was the inspiration behind this entire lighting look Shot in my little garage studio space, it goes to show that you can do a lot with a couple of lights, a great subject, and a little creativity.

One of my favourite things about being a photographer is getting to hang out and create things with other creative people. Earlier this summer I had the incredible @hellomisskiss over for dinner and we snuck out to the little garage studio for a few quick snaps. This is the result!

Thinking back to the summer sun. I don't get asked to shoot outdoors in natural light that often, but when the lovely folks at @neworldtheatre suggested we try to mix a colourful gelled look with an outdoor location I was excited to put my lighting math to the test! I'm pretty happy with the result. We were able to retain quite a bit of the colour saturation inside the van thanks to the LED tubes and some hidden gelled flashes. Huge thanks to the folks at neworld, @chey.nan.igans, and to the sun for not being as much of a pain as it could have been.

Promo images for "The Effect" by Lucy Prebble. Co produced by @itsazooproductions and @rumbletheatre. I love it when I'm given the opportunity to pitch some ideas into the creative direction of a shoot. For this one I wanted to play with obscuring the actors in some way - without using photoshop. A quick trip to home depot and a few well placed gels did just the trick. The show is excellent and I highly recommend you see it! It's on until Saturday Nov 22.

Some (relatively) recent work with @tightropeimprotheatre for their murder mystery show! We looked at old posters for the 1985 Clue movie for reference. Super fun.
