Hello Dolphins! The Writing and Multiliteracy Center is collaborating with English Club to host our first ever Talent Show and Open Mic night on Thursday, November 5th from 5:00 - 8:30pm!

We will be offering free pizza & drinks, giftcard giveaways, a photobooth with fun accessories, specially designed stickers and buttons, interactive activities, and a spectacular experience with our community!

In the first half of the event, we are featuring a talent showcase that is meant to highlight CI students' dance abilities, singing/karaoke expertise, and writing skills! Afterwards, we will host an Open Mic for anybody else who would like to share their creativity with our campus! New cybersecurity pathways are coming to Ventura County in Spring 2027! 🔐

Cal State Channel Islands (CSUCI) and Moorpark College are launching two bachelor’s degree options with distinct focuses:

🎓 CSUCI’s Bachelor of Science in Business with a Cybersecurity Management Emphasis prepares transfer students to lead cybersecurity strategy, policy and organizational response.

💻 Moorpark College’s Bachelor of Science in Applied Cyberdefense and Network Operations builds hands-on skills in network security, penetration testing and digital forensics.

Students can complete lower-division coursework at Moorpark College and transfer to CSUCI, or pursue Moorpark’s technical bachelor’s degree. Both paths offer a way to study close to home and prepare for careers in cybersecurity.
