CSUF Music presents an interdisciplinary performance:

CONVERGENCE
TUESDAY • MAY 12, 2026 • 6:30PM • CPAC 272 •

Directed by Courtney Ozovek (DANCE) & Hesam Abedini (MUSIC)

Convergence is an interdisciplinary collaboration developed within the Dance Composition B course at California State University, Fullerton. The project was conceived and directed by Courtney Ozovek (Dance) in collaboration with Hesam Abedini (Music) and brought to life through the work of student choreographers, composers, conductors, and musicians. Student choreographers were tasked with creating original works through an exploration of personal voice and cultural competency, engaging both independent creative processes and collaborative exchanges with composers. Select works feature live music, composed and performed by CSUF music students, while additional works are presented with curated recorded scores. These collaborations were shaped through ongoing dialogue, allowing artists to navigate shared decision-making, artistic negotiation, and interdisciplinary discovery. This project reflects a shared commitment to interdisciplinary practice, offering students the opportunity to develop their artistic voice while working across disciplines in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Tickets: $14 $12 Titan Price* All orders subject to a $4 processing fee
*Titan prices for advance sales only (non CSUF students, senior citizens age 62+, & CSUF staff, faculty, Alumni Association, OLLI, & support group members). Minimum age is 4 years old and a ticket it required - no babes in arms.

Looking to attend a summer intensive or expand your training beyond the CPAC? Need financial assistance? Submit your scholarship application NOW❕

Dance Association will be providing a limited amount of scholarships up to $500 per recipient. Please provide us with the information listed as well as how much aid you are requesting / cost of attendance.

Two rounds of scholarship awards will be announced to allow students time to determine their journeys for the summer.

* Scholarships will be determined by DA officers and select faculty. by @csuf_dance_program
