✨ BIG NEWS! ✨

Today marks two incredible milestones for C’s Village.

♥️ We are officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!
♥️ And today we’re launching our GoFundMe to help us take the next big step.

What started in a spare bedroom in my home has grown into a community closet providing FREE clothing, diapers, postpartum essentials, and baby items to moms and babies who need them most.

Because of your generosity and support, we’ve outgrown that little room.

Now we’re dreaming even bigger.

Our goal is to open a dedicated space where we can serve more families, accept more donations, and continue providing everything free of charge with dignity, compassion, and love.

WE’RE MOVING!!! 🥹🤎📦

The first carloads are officially making their way into C’s Village’s new space, and it’s finally starting to feel REAL.

What started in a spare bedroom is growing into a dedicated space where we can organize donations, prepare free bundles, and support even more local moms and babies.

There’s still so much to move, organize, and get ready — but every box, every bag, and every little step gets us closer.

This is more than just a move. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for our village. 🫶

And we’re just getting started.

**A NEW CHAPTER FOR C’S VILLAGE!**

First, THANK YOU. 🥹♥️ Because of this community, what started in a spare bedroom is becoming something so much bigger. Every donation, share, and kind word has helped us get closer to opening our new space and serving even more moms and babies.

Now, we’re making a little change!

We’re moving our fundraising from GoFundMe to Givebutter so we can make the most of every donation and put more support directly toward our mission.

Our new fundraising page will help us go beyond opening our doors. It will help us KEEP them open — covering ongoing needs, restocking essentials, and continuing to provide 100% FREE bundles to local moms and babies.

An entire Amazon order full of things for our mamas and babies, and I’m just over here laying it all out on the floor like a kid on Christmas morning. 😂

Seriously though… every single donation means SO much to me!

These are things that are going to go straight to local moms who need them, and I’m just so freaking grateful for the people who continue to show up for C’s Village.

Today was so much more than a beautiful fall morning. 🍂🎃

@molly_elizabeth.photography @themomwalkco.rochestermi I truly cannot thank you enough for opening your hearts and putting together such a beautiful fundraiser for C’s Village.

The weather was perfect, the garden center was beautiful, there were pumpkins, flowers, coffee, chickens, happy kiddos, and so many wonderful moms who came out to support our little community.

Molly spent the morning capturing Mommy & Me photos, turning sweet memories into meaningful support for C’s Village.

And then came the number we’ve been working toward…

$672 raised today.

Which brought our total to $3,017.

Our goal was $3,000 to get the startup costs covered for our new space.

WE DID IT. 🥹♥️

Because of everyone who donated, showed up, shared the event, took photos, brought supplies, or simply believed in what we’re building…

C’s Village can open its doors.

A real space for families.
A place to gather.
A place to feel supported.
A place to build community.

Molly & Rachel — thank you for believing in C’s Village and creating such a beautiful day around it. Your generosity, time, creativity, and heart made a bigger impact than you probably realize.

There is something so special about mamas showing up for other mamas. What started as a fun morning of fall photos turned into an opportunity to make a REAL difference for a local family organization doing incredible things.

It always starts with empty boxes… and ends with a little piece of hope packed up for a local mama.

This very cramped spare bedroom may not look like much, but so much love happens in this little space.

Every box gets packed with the hope that it makes things just a little easier for a mom who needs it. That a baby has something they need. That a mama feels supported, cared for, and reminded that she doesn’t have to do it all alone.

From empty boxes to bundles ready for pickup… one mama, one baby, one box at a time.

And somehow, this little room keeps making room for more. 🥹

We’re so excited to share that @littlerootsplaycafe is generously hosting a donation box for C’s Village during their upcoming Local Holiday Pop-Up Market this week!

📅 Friday, October 9th
⏰ 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 Little Roots Play Café

We’ll be collecting new or gently used winter essentials for little ones in sizes newborn through 3T/4T, including:

🧥 Winter coats
❄️ Snow pants & snowsuits
🥾 Winter boots
🧤 Hats & gloves
🧣 Scarves

Every little item makes a big difference! These donations will help us support local families and ensure their little ones have the warm essentials they need for the colder months ahead.

If you’re planning to attend the market, please consider bringing an item or two to drop in our donation box! You can shop local, enjoy the event, and help us spread a little extra warmth throughout our community. 🫶
