Dear Cal-Mum Varsity Softball,

It’s impossible to fit all the emotions I’ve felt over the past four years into one post. It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman earning a starting position on varsity. The huge wins and tough losses have shaped me into the athlete I am today.

Whether it was hitting my first home run, celebrating unforgettable wins with my teammates, or ending my senior year as a Sectional Champion, I wouldn’t have wanted to experience any of it anywhere else.

Every time I put on that Cal-Mum jersey, I felt a sense of pride knowing I was representing something bigger than just myself.

The friendships, memories, and lessons I’ve gained will stay with me forever. I hope I was able to leave a positive impact on the legacy of Cal-Mum Varsity Softball, just as this program has left a lasting impact on me.

Thank you, CM Softball, for every memory, every challenge, and every unforgettable moment. I truly wouldn’t have wanted to spend my high school years anywhere else. #16signingout #senioryear #alwaysaraider🥎 by @ct_142_

I think saying I like the game of softball is an understatement. I love the game of softball and the opportunities that have happened to me because of softball. The amount of talented girls I’ve played with, the places I’ve traveled, and the coaches I’ve met along the way. I’ve played the game sick, tired, and injured and not once did I wish to be anywhere else besides that field. I’m forever grateful I decided to play softball instead of lacrosse in 7th grade…. Thank you seniors for such a great year! Proud of every one of my teammates and thank you for making it such a great junior year! #junioryear #varsitysoftball #year3 by @ct_142_
