This post comes with a heavy heart. As a Voiceover agent for nearly 30 years, it is with great honor and gratitude that I have worked with and helped shape many careers and fulfill animation dreams.Young and emerging talent hold a special place in my heart, and Hayden Panettiere is truly someone who holds such a place. I first met Hayden when she was just seven years old—full of bright, spunky, and abundant energy. She was the kind of talent where you know right away she’s going to be a star. She possessed an indelible imprint with a special kind of energy; truly a warm heart.I look back fondly on the days of our sessions and conversations in the booth; at times, that booth felt like a confessional space. There, she would share her dreams, deliver her auditions with succinct dynamics and range, and take direction like an old-soul professional. She wanted to be in an animated movie more than anything. I told her I’d do everything possible to make that dream come true. When the booking for the Walt Disney Animated feature Dinosaur landed, the utter joy in delivering and her receiving that news became a core memory. I will never forget her team-player spirit in saying, “We did it!”Hayden, you are gone way too soon, my sweet girl. May you rest easy and be free from all of the pain and struggles you carried during your short life. I love you.We are only on this planet for a short time—sadly, some shorter than others—and it’s so important to be kind and loving to one another. I made the choice to not have biological children, and instead, I have spent my entire career protecting, standing up for, and working with amazing young talent who I will always consider my version of children. God bless you and your family. ❤️🙏🏾💔 by @ctcvo
